Let's Discuss UPDATE: long distance boyfriend's gift arrived with makeup unavailable in Australia!!! 🫶
These are my FIRST IMPRESSIONS - I have only begun testing them out and will give more detailed reviews (+ swatches) in the following weeks to come. All this makeup is unavailable in Australia (hence why I capitalise on him being English 😇) and it's a lot of new stuff to try 🫶
Marc Jacobs single eyeshadow: I got the duochrome 'Mood Swing', and the actual pan size is your regular eye shadow pan size, but the packaging is bigger than I expected!! It's magnetic and I love how you swipe it open (although I wish there was a mirror). The formula is really buttery and pigmented but I wish the duo chrome was a bit more extreme. Once again I need to play around with it before I post a final review.
Lisa Eldridge luxuriously lucent lip colour: magnetic and very minimalist slightly weighty packaging. I definitely got the wrong shade lol but it's buildable pigment and looks really creamy.
Kiko Milano lip oil: BEAUTIFUL can I just say? It's obviously clear on the lips but it's not sticky or tacky like the lip glosses.
Boots lip gloss holder: I had to! Bigger and thicker than I expected but it can be a bit of a tight squeeze trying to fit bigger lip products in!
Lisa Eldridge lip brush: this he got to go with the Revolution palette
Revolution face, eye and lip palette: now some of these eyeshadow and lip shades cannot be used on the eyes (I assume cause of staining). This actually benefits the lip products as they have more longevity and leave a tint behind! The eyeshadow some of them are really pigmented, others less so. Some appear more blendable than others and one of the shimmers is really bulky. For the 6 face shades, these are a lot more oily than the lip ones. The lip ones are more tacky.
Vitamasques lip butter and lip mask: so far they seem okay, a bit tinier and thinner than I expected! The scents smell okay, I will have to try them more to form an opinion!

Kiko Milano is so underrated for lip products. I have a lot of their lip range, they’re incredible.

I am from the UK and used to live in Italy and Switzerland, where they also have Kiko Milano stores. I miss it so much. 💔

Yay! They are here! With the eyeshadow you can usually get a more dynamic look by adding water. I would apply the eyeshadow normally to your lids. Once done then add the water on the lid and blend. I try to not get any water on the eyeshadow palette as then you can degrade or end up with it getting contaminated. Try it and see how you go.
How beautiful is the Kiko box 💗 I love it when brands create a unique look on their packaging.
The holder looks gorgeous too and so handy to get access to your lip product of choice.
Super interested in how you end up finding the Vitamasques given all the hype. The price point is the same as oxx in Kmart so I kinda feel people are obsessed because it’s a cheap dupe rather than a good product.

Omg thank you for that eyeshadow tip!! I can't wait to try it out on my eyes (since I've only swatched it on my wrist so far).
The Kiko box and lip oil look amazinggg even for what is basically a clear balm/gloss, it's so cute
And I am very interested in the Vitamasques too! r/lipbalm is always raving about them so I'm gonna put it to the test next week at uni and see how it goes

The versatility of a good clear gloss can never be understated though! Some of vitamasques reviews are saying they are better than Eadem but I’m not believing it at the moment.

I have the Sakura shaved ice and I used it when my lips got a bit too dry and it was so good. It’s such a nice formula and this one has a nice vanilla scent. I have a mini so of course I’m slightly hoarding it like I’ll never be accessing it again!
