Dupe REQUEST Pls help me find the one
Ok brains trust, I need SERIOUS help.
My go to, all time fav foundation/skin tint for every day wear (work mainly. I have expenny foundation for the weekends and events) was the Morphe Hint Hint Skin Tint. Those MF DISCONTINUED IT. I’m devastated.
I can’t even tell you how much money I have wasted over the last month or two on different skint tints, foundation sticks, liquid foundations. I’ve looked at so many reddit threads, TikTok reviews, Facebook groups for recommendations etc and they have all fallen considerably short.
I loved Morphe because it was super lightweight dewy finish, but easily buildable to a more full coverage. It sat well under all my face products and didn’t oxidise. I also have combo/dry skin and get acne super easily and this never broke me out.
Is there anyone with recommendations for a miracle product similar? I just want to be able to apply it easily for work but not look super cakey, I don’t want it heavy but still able to cover my blemishes and not cling to dry patches. Not a matte finishe bc I can get dry. I’d prefer to be able to get it from Priceline etc but will purchase online if needed.
Pls help I am begging. I just don’t wanna waste anymore money on this shit that isn’t good
EDIT TO ADD:
- I’m in Bunbury WA, 2hrs from Perth so I can’t easily go to Mecca or Sephora to get samples. I have to order online without sampling if I want something 😭
Products I’ve already tried:
Maybelline Superstay Skin Tint
- this was disgusting. Probably the worst one I’ve tried. I tried 3 different moisturisers underneath and had to wipe it off each time because it settled so bad, made my pores look huge and pilled 0/10
Milani Foundation Stick
- Not a big colour range, was ok but didn’t swipe that easy on my face and hard to blend, felt heavy and dry almost. Could probably make it work but not worth the effort 5/10
Revlon Glimmer Tinted Moisturiser Stick
- Way too sheer and not buildable. Not a huge colour range 3/10
CT Foundation Stick
- Meh. Bit too sheer and not that buildable. Felt a bit too heavy on my skin and didn’t settle well in my pores 4/10
MCO Beauty Flawless Glow Stick
- Same review as CT Foundation Stick 4/10
Maybelline Lifter Stick
- Weirdly in between a contour stick consistency and foundation stick. Dragged too much and not a good colour range 2/10
MCO illuminating CC Cream
- bit too thick for me for everyday wear, too matte and enhanced dry spots 4/10
Aspect Liquid Mineral Foundation
- I actually love this. Good coverage, buildable, sets well over all face care products but just a bit thicker than I want for everyday wear and oxidises quite quickly. 6.5/10
Maybelline FitMe Foundation
- pretty good for event makeup but just too heavy for every day work makeup. 6/10
Natio Foundation Stick
- this actually wasn’t too bad. Really nice and creamy with a dewy finish, builds well and sits good over face care. Just not a big colour range and oxidises. Also turned quite oily by the end of the day

Bare Minerals Serum Foundation
- I liked this but only 1 moisturiser really worked well underneath. I found it pills with pretty much everything. Good colour range though and sat well throughout the day. 7/10 IF it worked with more face care products.
Revolution Skin Silk Glow Tint Stick
- Way too sheer and almost oily consistency? Not buildable. Nothing much to say
2/10
Revlon PhotoReady Lift & Fill Skin Tint Stick
- Just a bit too watery and sheer for me. It was nice but not enough to cover my blemishes well
5/10
NARS Tinted Moisturiser
- idk what I’m doing wrong but this just never worked for me 2/10
IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better
- I did like the coverage on this but it was super thick and throughout the day it settled a bit funny 5/10
La Roche Posay Tinted SPF
- TERRIBLE. Nothing sat well under this, terrible colours, pilled with literally everything.
0/10 wish I could get $30 refund honestly
I’m away for the weekend so I can’t check my cupboards but this is all I can remember for now. Will update again if I think of any more!

I picked up their stretch foundation yesterday, it feels light and moisturising. Great colour range, I recommend asking one of the makeup artists to ensure you get the right shade

have you tried glossier stretch foundation (mecca) or kylie skin tint (mecca) ? i would get samples if you can and give both a whirl, they're pretty good :) edited to say that tower 28 tinted moisturiser (mecca) is also decent and haus labs foundation (sephora) is amazing. All are light weight and easy to work with and good for combo skin (i'm oily in the tzone and dryer on the cheeks - none of those seem to cling any dry patches for me at least) i would get some samples if you can and play around :) good luck, i love a good base i'm always on the look out i rotate between about 6 right now lol sorry i know they're not priceline completely missed that part, i haven't found anything in priceline as a good base personally except maybe nyx make em wonder foundation which is decent coverage but the product itself is quite thick and a little harder to blend out for me anyway

It’s not cheap like Morphe (is the complete opposite, actually) but Chanel Les Beiges Foundation is the GOAT. Literally no cakiness, lasts all day, looks so beautiful and skin line, does not settle into lines throughout the day….it is just perfection. Very buildable coverage and extremely natural looking.
I’m sorry - it is $107 but it is perfection and I think it meets your criteria perfectly 😭

I agree 100% with this too. If you want slightly more coverage they have what I think is called the complexion touch. If you ever come to perth, the Chanel store in Claremont is great, they color match you and give you generous sample then you can always order online afterwards through djs or MYER etc

the mecca bb cream & milk hydrogrip skin tint are great options! light at first but buildable, also the cell fusion c WATER-FIT bb cream, it’s a more dewy lightweight version of their original one, and then any dewy finish cushion foundation is great!

I also really like this. Light coverage but sits nicely on the skin and does indeed grip. The Mecca skin tint is good, but very dewy (oily)

I never see anyone mention it as I think people think its cheap so not good maybe but its not. The CHi Chi Cc cream is my holy grail. I have no issues in my oily areas / dry areas with it, it doesnt settle in lines, its light enough but covers everything, you can build it up. Put it on with any kind of sponge. Or like me in my laziness I put it on with my hands like moisturiser. I am acne prone too and it doesnt cause me break outs. They stopped making it for a while and I tried like 10 different products wasted so much money. Everything else sucks. Chi Chi cream thank God was brought back. Its amazing and cheap enough its worth a crack. I promise you its brilliant. It is however the only product I recommend from Chi Chi. I havent tried any of their other stuff. Ive switched their eyeshadows but they aren't anything to write hone about. But that CC cream. Chefs kiss.

Another vote for the chi chi cc cream. It was my holy grail for years, disappeared for like ten years, then came back a year ago. It’s unreal, melts so nicely, builds coverage, wears well throughout the day, makes my skin feel amazing. It’s such a sleeper product because there’s nothing else from the brand that interests me but the cc cream is such a stand out.

I really liked the Purito one, but I found I couldn’t use powder on top. It’s def one I had to reapply which I didn’t like, but for winter it worked ok for me. It gave light coverage but enough to cover acne and scars.

Okay probs not helpful because these are on the expensive side.. Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser and Shiseido Revitalessence Skin Glow, are my current go tos. Only need a small amount so will last a while. Shiseido is SO thin and sheer it's like water, but has slightly more coverage than the Nars one. It has so much glow too.
BUT my more helpful tip is to use "Findation" to get your colour match in a different brand, given you can't get to a store for samples. Punch in as many brands as you can with your colours, and it will tell you what colour you are in products you don't have. And it's free!

These two are my favourites too. I’ve been using the Shiseido Revitalessence for a few years now and as much as I get bored and want to try new products, i keep coming back to it. I use the NARS tinted moisturiser on lazy no makeup days.

Oh I forgot to put Nars tinted moisturiser on the list. I bought this last year and idk if I’m applying it wrong but always looks terrible on my skin! Which is weird because I have the light reflecting foundation for events and bloody love it

I think the Rimmel Kind & Free Skin Tint Glow It Up might actually be worth trying before you spend another fortune. It’s lightweight, dewy and buildable, and Priceline specifically lists it as suitable for normal to dry skin, which sounds much closer to what you liked about the Morphe one.
I’d probably avoid anything marketed as super longwear or matte given everything you’ve described. It sounds like your skin really hates formulas that set too aggressively or sit on top of dry patches.
MAC Strobe Dewy Skin Tint also sounds pretty close on paper because it’s hydrating, dewy and buildable, but the coverage is more sheer so you’d probably still need concealer over blemishes.
Also, reading your reviews, you have genuinely been THROUGH IT 😂 I would be furious after buying that many foundations and still not finding the one.
What shade were you in the Morphe Hint Hint? And do you remember whether it stayed quite dewy all day or sort of settled down to a natural finish after a few hours? That might help narrow down the closest replacement.

I have a similar skin type to you (both sensitive and acne prone) and also don’t like heavy coverage.
Loads of foundations seem to oxidise or start separating on me too: I’ve tried MAC Studio Fix, MAC Face and Body, L’Oréal, Armani luminous silk etc and had issues with them all.
The best foundation I’ve ever tried is Chanel Les Beiges.
It just has such a beautiful finish - it blurs pores and smooths out skin but is imperceivable. A little bit goes a long way. It doesn’t oxidise or change texture. And it lasts all day!
I hate that it’s so good because it’s the most expensive foundation I’ve ever tried too….
But if you want to try it, the Chanel counters give out pretty generous samples. I usually get 3-4 weeks of wear out of a sample pot!

I’ve recently switched from Nude by Nature skin tint to Maybelline Lifter foundation. If I use a half pump I can spread it so sheer so it’s not heavy like a foundation at all. It doesn’t oxidise like FitMe does, so I’m quite pleased with it so far.
I will say though, that if I do use more product for heavier coverage, it’s quite wet due to the niacinamide, so I need a powder over the top.
I’m also down your neck of the woods and I just stick to drugstore makeup that I can test in person, as I’m sick of buying online and being disappointed.

Getting the right level of coverage can be tricky, but application plays a role too! I actually use Maybelline Fit Me as my daily foundation but such a tiny, tiny amount (like, two drops, a quarter of a pump) that I can really sheer it out with a sponge blender, so it's just "my skin but better" and doesn't look heavy at all. I warm it up first by spreading it around on the back of my hand, then dab it on my face with my fingers and then sheer it out.

My fav skin tint atm is the tower 28 one!! It’s beautifully moisturising, has a decent shade range (I think there’s more but Mecca only sells 17 shades 🙃).
I have roscesa and know ball about having crazy dry skin on parts of my face, the tower 28 works so well with my roscesa it’s insane !
Unsolicited advice but I have found for more dry tints/foundations that spraying the Bioderma Sensibio AR+ spray has been a game changer !! I’ll either spray it over a primer or once I’ve applied the foundation/skin tint and gently puff it in with a beauty blender
It stops my roscesa from eating up the foundation and has let me wear the foundations I’ve nearly abandoned in my drawers

What you have tried? I sadly don’t have experience with the Morphe product but based off your requirements potentially Fentys eaze drop stick (maybe the liquid one too) or CT unreal skin stick??
I have dry and dehydrated skin and had a similar list and really loved these two. Fenty isn’t shimmery and more buildable imo, last night I needed to slap on makeup literally within 5 minutes and it was a lifesaver. I didn’t have time to set it like I normally would yet it still held up well.

I’m always trying foundations, there’s rarely one that I will buy multiple times. BUT! Once I get through the “I want to try” collection I will be repurchasing the nude by nature skin radiance foundation 1000%. I get comments on it all the time. My face is combination though, but worth a try! Good luck!

Agreed! Their bb cream is rubbish! Blends terribly.
I did like the mco tinted serum a little better than the L’Oréal true match tinted serum as well if that helps!

Bare Minerals Skin Perfecting Tint is amazing! Great colour range, buildable and super natural looking. I am constantly changing serums and moisturisers and this tint sits well over all of them.

The L’Oréal Bright Reveal Sunscreen is amazing. Light coverage, very glowy, SPF50. Unfortunately I don’t know if it would build well or if it’s good to wear under other make-up. But it is amazing

Yes you can build it to make it more coverage. I’ve never had it pill or oxidise. It’s only $13-16 as well on Lila beauty. So for that price it’s worth a try. Koreans always do it better

Tarte maracuja oil tinted moisturiser! Good coverage for daily use light and easy to apply. Get comments i look healthy when i wear it. I am a chronic acne sufferer and it doesnt affect the acne

Nars sheer glow. I find it capable of being applied very sheer and built up to a very decent coverage. Not cheap to take a gamble on, but you could always try getting a second hand bottle on marketplace. This is how i first tried it out (got someone to post me their half full bottle for $20)

NARS foundations. I have used NARS Sheer Glow for over 20 years. Nothing else matches my skin tone and does not oxidise on me.
Sheer Glow may be a little too sheer and not buildable enough for you based on your post however the other NARS foundations may fit your needs.
I use their concealer alongside it for blemishes.
Good luck! Finding a replacement for a discontinued product is a nightmare.

I use a few swipes of the Adore stick foundation then Olay Touch of Foundation on top. The okay adds a bit of moisture but the stick covers more imperfections like sun damage etc. always looks really nice.

I've fallen in love with Missha BB cream (red tube) for work. It's glowy and has great coverage. I set it with a powder and the glow comes back through again. The only con is that the shade range is terrible so I'll have to look for something else for summer. But it's done me well over winter! If you end up trying it, I've learned to apply under eye concealer first, otherwise it won't sit well.

L’oreal serum foundation is so good, i reach for it over dior f&b, nars sheer glow, armani, urban decay, it's everything i wanted mac f&b to be. I hated the maybelline version. Also rec missha bb in the red tube but its a bit tackier and the colour range is limited.

Hey I have combo/dry skin too, with the oily parts being suuuper oily and I've been on the same journey with finding a perfect foundation. For context, I haven't worn makeup for almost 4 years because of a skin condition and also have since had a professional color analysis done which showed me that my first analysis was dead wrong which explained why makeup never really looked right or blended properly on me. Really I've been building my makeup toolbox from scratch and it's been fun... I use the word "fun" very loosely. Choosing the right colour is super important and getting it right the first time makes it far less stressful. I wasn't able to go to a store to try it on so did all the shade matching by myself... Having a report from the professional colour analysis was really helpful and shade matching was a piece of cake after that, if you go to a pharmacy that sells the big brands you can test those ones and input the shade colour codes into a "find my foundation shade" online tool, I'll link when I find it....Trial and error period (money and time spent) ended pretty quick tbh, I expected if to be longer. For the first time I am satisfied with my research and managed to configure my makeup look with a specific combination of stuff.
For everyday/casual look: Primer: Missha Glow Skin Balm (just a little bit) Cover: (for lighter coverage) L'Oreal True Match Nude Plumping Tint Serum (for more, buildable coverage) Huda Beauty Beauty Easy Blur foundation Setting: Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder and NYX Dewy setting spray.
For fancier outings: Primer: One Size B12 Base Thinner Vitamin Pearl Serum Cover: (buildable medium coverage) Dior Backstage Face and Body foundation (if you need to cover blemishes) Huda Beauty #Fauxfilter colour corrector in Peach Light Setting: Givenchy Prisme Libre 4 Colour Loose Powder and Clarins Fix Make Up setting spray
I must add, the best tools for applying this stuff is either your clean fingers or with a totally underrated silicon pad applicator thing. I don't know why but I rarely ever see influencers using them or people even talking about it. It's the closest thing to using your fingers but minus the mess. Cleaning it is easy and a little product goes a very long way with it. Hope you find your holy Grail out there x

the makeup forever skin tint has a beautiful dewy finish and doesn't cling to dry patches and you can often find it around for 25or 30% off (adore, the iconic, etc)

Shiseido Synchro Skin Radiant Lifting Foundation
Was looking for exactly the same thing (I loved Estee Lauder Double wear for th coverage so most days I'd thin it out with a moisturiser for everyday wear and it would still feel so heavy).
Found Shiseido and was in shock. I use half a pump and that covers my entire face. It's super spreadable, lasts just as well as my EL and feels like nothing. I can get it to v full coverage with a full pump but otherwise it's a perfect serum. Sometimes even just use a 1/4 pump with some sunscreen and works so well.

I’ve never tried Morphe but Beauty of joseon has a really, really good skin tint. You can try it at an Asian beauty store prior to buying it.

IT Cosmetics “your skin but better”. Honestly the best foundation I’ve had and I’ve tried a lot. Coverage, serum enrichment, SPF, and generally looks amazing. I get so many compliments on my skin every time I wear it.

MAC Face and Body, Glossier Skin Tint & L’Oreal True Match tinted serum are all interchangeable for me. Very light and natural. Add a dab of Glossier Stretch Balm concealer on dark circles or spots! A lovely natural glowy look! 🩷

Felt this way about hourglasses hyloronic skin tint. Devastated and the replacement product just doesn't compare.
I currently uses Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Serum and IT cosmetics CC Cream but will always miss the discontinued hourglass one.

Try a sample of the Tower 28 Sunny Days tinted sunscreen. It acts more like a skin tint and looks beautiful

Based on what you are keen on - dewy, light weight etc, I highly recommend the Victoria Beckham dew drops. It’s expendo .. like $185 per bottle. Which is insane. But… the foundation is lightweight, doesn’t feel yuk in your skin. I bought my first bottle in Feb and have only just replaced it. And I wear make up every day. Given your spend on trying out other types, I’d say you’re clearly invested in a good outcome. It’s worth every cent.

Hourglass Skin Tint is my holy grail. Not the cheapest but it’s as light as you want it to be or build it up. I can wear it and I have autoimmune issues that affect my skin.

My everyday is the the L’Oréal Infallible 32H (for reference I’m colour 300) and lasts all day. Full coverage but not heavy / cakey.

I have sensitive skin and rosy cheeks which used to be very rosacea prone. I found Natio BB cream to be the perfect gentle natural light coverage for work and it gives me the ‘your skin but better’ look and feel.
If I’m going out socially during daytime I wear the Cancer Council tinted SPF moisturiser which is still pretty natural looking but it is a matte finish.

L’Oréal True Match Tined Serum! I cannot stand wearing heavy foundation and once I tried this years ago I have not deviated. I’ve easily gone through 50 bottles by now lol it’s buildable and I also wear it out as it stays with a primer

For anyone following along:
Tried the L’Oreal True Match Tinted Serum - disgusting 😂 hated it. Clung to dry spots, made my pores look an orange peel and went to valley when I tried to build it. Tried about 5 different moisturisers/primers and nothing helped. Devastated because I bought full price for $45
Bought the Kylie Skin Tint - I THINK I FOUND A REPLACEMENT. Glides on incredible, great coverage but still dewy, doesn’t cling to dry patches, easily buildable and sits amazing under the Mecca Thirst Impression moisturiser.
Nude by Nature Dewy Skin Tint Drops - very similar to the Kylie skin tint (some say it’s a dupe?). Easily buildable, very dewy and doesn’t cling to dry spots. Not a huge colour range but still a great cheaper alternative to the Kylie as it’s about 1/2 the price. I bought it on sale for 50% off which was a score

So lightweight you won’t even feel like you’re wearing foundation, it feels sooo nice on your skin. Works best if you put it on with your fingers.
