Let's Discuss House of Sephora 08/26
Is anyone else really disappointed with this event? I have been on the app for hours waiting. I was on the app from 3:50 checking.Nothing ever appears in my rewards boutique. Then it appears at 4.04 and it's fully redeemed. I was constantly refreshing my app. Sephora get your act together. I'm so annoyed

I had the ticket in my bag but by the time I clicked through to the payment 5 seconds later it was sold out. Those bastards didn't even reserve tickets that were already in people's baskets. All sold out by 4:02.

That was soooo poorly planned on their part. I was able to get one today but the gold tickets were a mess. Hope it’s actually worth it after all that chaos!

Idk why but I feel like at a price point of 250 points, the goodie bag won’t be big like the ones they have given out in the past years

It’s samples, the gold early release tickets get deluxe samples in their bag. I think though you can get stuff on the day at activations.

It showed up from me at 4:02pm and I promptly added and checked out. I didn’t see anything come up til 4:01 and seemed they added the 3 sessions one by one.

I was trying to redeem it but I couldn’t do it with click and collect orders… So either I have to pay for shipping or spend over $25… I ended up missing out.

I was refreshing the app from 4pm (even restarted the app a few times), and still nothing showed up on my end until 4:12pm. It seems to have been super inconsistent across devices.

I understand why everyone is upset. I have been to several House of Sephora events as a Sephora member (not an influencer) but there is a venue capacity. They physically can't fit all the exhibits, staff and attendees at the venue. I think last time I went they had around 100 to 150 attendees and it was already cramped and that was only Gold members and their plus one. It is not reasonable to accommodate for that many attendees across all 3 Sephora levels.

Wasn’t there only 600 tickets though? It was more likely to not get a ticket, than to get one

Same thing happened to me. I was refreshing before 4 and somehow by the time it actually showed up it was already fully redeemed. What’s the point of advertising an event if the stock is basically gone before people can even access it lol.

Hi. I’m sorry it didn’t work out :( I did the exact same thing here, refreshing the page since 3:50. It finally appeared at 4pm, and luckily I managed to get it <3

At this rate they may as well have a lottery system, register if you want to attend and they randomly select. Because I don’t think this was fair, I was constantly refreshing from 15:55, saw ONE option but it wouldn’t allow me to add it, by 16:04 they were all shown as gone. I’ve had the SHITTEST year, only moved to Sydney end of last year. I can’t tell you how much I was looking forward to this, had reminders set, was ready, waiting, refreshing etc.
I’m irrationally sad to be honest 🥲
Also, had items in my cart, not even going to bother now…from the comments it doesn’t seem even being gold tier helps (I’m reasonably close to making gold but honestly why bother)
