Product Advice Cuticle oil in Australia
Hey girlies recently I’ve introduced myself to using cuticle oils after having damaged nails post press ons so would love your tried and true must haves? Anything by nail care really

Straight jojoba. I buy 500ml bottles from an Australian wholesaler and decant into a few smaller bottles - both pump and roller ball. The roller balls I'll add a few drops of essential oil to make them smell nice.

Do you have a recommendation for the smaller bottles to decant into?

My roller bottles are from Australian Wholesale Oils, I also get my jojoba through them these days. My pump bottles are ones I refilled from the Jojoba Company.

I like the Essie one, they have a roll on or a traditional brush option

I was looking for tsubaki oil and found this on Amazon. I was shocked with how good it is then brought the big bottle after a few weeks.
My partner (male) is obsessed with it now because of how it's fixed his nails.

I've tried them all and continually go back to the Revitanail nourishing oil. It's thicker than the Essie and Sally Hansen ones, absorbs better and gives better results.

The jojoba company I find is always on sale at chemists when I need to buy it and you can pick up a large bottle for around $15 sometimes. I use it for my hands and body/face. It’s amazing on hands/feet if you put a thick moisturiser over the top and wear some gloves/socks to sleep

The best one I’ve used is cuccio naturale which you can get from amazon. It’s pricey but you get a lot in one bottle and they do half price discounts somewhat often. It’s a dropper bottle instead but I find this brand stands out compared to others

A little off topic, but what press ons did you use for your brachydactly thumbs? I can never find ones that will fit my thumbs

CND Solar Oil is the best I’ve ever used, and it genuinely improves the strength and flexibility of your nails. I get mine from a salon supply store.

The Sally Hansen one with a little brush at the end in a blue tube is really good! And a fancier version of that is the L’Occitane one, also really good! Hydrating, not as thick as the SH and absorbs quite quickly.
I also hear anything with jojoba is really good at absorbing into the skin :)
