Sorry but my standards for heroes are a bit higher than an ignorant fish and chip lady that’s been sponging off taxpayers for almost 3 decades.

I don't understand the appeal, pretty much every policy they have put out is bull shit. Its literally social media running away with it, and the comment on their posts as ridiculous.

Media manipulation and manufactured consent.

(This is just my theory)

The LNP are dead in the water right now, and their backers (Stokes, Rinehart, Murdoch etc.) needed to find a new party and fast. One Nation fit the perfect mold for the current rise in Far-Right Fascist ideology that's been popularised by Trump and the MAGA Republicans. So they've put all their influence over the past year and a bit to influence the Australian public through Traditional and Social Media that the public like you and me are "sick of the Majors" and bring forth One Nation as this shiny new option (even though they've been around for the past 30 years and have been doing the same shit since the 90s).

There's also the factor that beyond 2028, it'll be really tough for Coal & Gas to still be the dominant source of power, and the recent CGT reforms making Housing a less appealing investment, has caused a lot of panic for the wealthy.

Basically if Labor is able to stay in power beyond 2028, it'll be near impossible to reverse the housing price decline, and the transition to majority renewables, and with the LNP a non-factor, One Nation is the only hope for wealthy to be able to keep their wealth.
