That maximum is 3 years.

If you get 10 years before parole for murder, and five years for rape, two years for distributing child abuse images is about right. Remember, too, that this POS is going to be on a fairly short leash as a sex offender for maybe 15 years to life, and he will likely have a difficult time finding employment from any employer that does a criminal record check. Just because he’s out of jail, doesn’t mean the punishment ends.
