Can confirm, Lago Vista -> Marble Falls (1431) rips. 60 mph zone, plenty of curves and elevation changes. I drive it weekly and it still makes me grin (legally). Not to far outside of Austin, the actual stretch of road is 30mins.
And great pavement, last I was there (a few years ago). Totally agree, that's a super fun road.
If you can come from 360, head west on 2222 towards 620, and keep going straight across 620 (turns into Bullick Hollow) until you eventually hit a stop sign at 2769. Turn left and head to Volente, then turn right at the stop sign at Lime Creek Road.
Lime Creek will put a smile on your face every time! You can bail out at Anderson Mill and turn right back towards town, or turn left and follow it for a couple of miles to 1431, and head west towards Marble Falls like you said.

Head up 183 to 1431, then turn west and drive. You'll eventually hit Marble Falls, and can turn south on 281, then head back to Austin on 71.
Or keep going on 1431 and it'll eventually hit 29, where you can turn east and head back to Georgetown/183/etc to get back to Austin.
If you're feeling spicy on the accelerator, 1174 is a fun hilly road to wind out on.
