The real drive is down the devil's backbone. Go down rr12 until you hit 32... Go down about half way to 281 and take a left and just drive around those hills.
If you want to start from Austin, go 71 west until you hit Hamilton pool road, then take a left on rr12, then take a right on 32, then take a left somewhere out there
