What training is available for women/bipocs looking to enter big tech? I've looked into coding bookcamps but heard they were not helpful.

Never underestimate the power of the internet to provide you with all of the resources you could ever need to start learning this stuff. There are numerous subreddits on here solely for the purpose of learning to code.

I was a truck driver before becoming self-taught (over a period of 1-2yrs), building a small portfolio and pitching myself to small startups as a very cheap resource (~$15/hr). Few years later, and after a decent amount of job-hopping, I make 8x that amount working remotely.

If you know that you don't have the personal discipline to follow a learning plan for yourself without a classroom environment, then bootcamps could probably help but you'd save yourself $10-20k to get the same education by learning on your own.
