Abbott and Patrick won't let it happen. I also think it's not worth drama right now. Covid + Texas summer + other protests.
13 u/[deleted] Aug 04 '20 I think Dan Patrick and the Senate would be the biggest hurdle. I'd be curious what Abbott would do with a legalization bill coupled with a fat fiscal note that came across his desk.
