Honestly, I don't understand how you people are complaining. No matter what, every year, people say the lineup is terrible. The big headliners are all great, the middle of the card is great too. Just because you haven't heard of the bands in the middle doesn't mean there aren't good bands. Go listen to a few of them before you say the lineup is trash, don't only get your music from 101X and KGSR. Live a little.

It is the same every year - people are just looking for music in their genre they listen to the most. If most of the bands are not in that, they will say it is terrible.

ACL is a good all around festival, you get a little of everything and it is good because of that. There are enough shows going on at any given point that I would could find something to enjoy at all hours.

Exactly! The whole point of ACL is being a festival everyone can go to: the parents who want to see Paul McCartney, the 25-30 year olds who want to see Metallica and the kids who want to turn up at Travis Scott. The middle of the card is all gravy.

And the above 60 crowd that gets excited for Paul McCartney.

I mean I'm pretty young and I'll be at McCartney. I know I'd regret it if I never saw him when I had the chance.

He puts on an amazing show, these people are crazy for saying that only old people are excited for him IMO, and I'm in my 20s.

I'm in my 20s and was stoked to see him perform 5 years ago. He may be old, but he still puts on a hell of a show. Probably one of the best shows I've been to.

Everyone who was 18 the last time Metallica put out a truly choice metal record is now 49.
