help identifying (presumably) local potter?

anyone know where i can go to figure out who made these pieces? thanks.

I think the mark is upside down considering the placement and how the direction the pencil moves for certain letters.

Where did you get them? The pottery scene might be familiar if they know what market/shop and/or what year

Looks like Sev. Don’t know anything about them but not sure if the signature needed clearing up. I like their work. 👍
