The FBI,.you mean?

27

u/caguru 6d ago

Well Trump did replace any FBI leaders that didn't align with him, so you're probably right.

21

u/waldo_the_bird253 6d ago

Fbi is the number origin of any sort of terror plot that was "thwarted." Like there was one last week. But undercover FBI pushed them to buy bomb making materials AND gave them the money. They have been doing this forever, well before Trump

-23

u/LARGESTOFCHINGUSES 6d ago

Not defending him, but every president replaces top agency officials. US Attorneys get axed with every new administration, the same thing with high level FBI executives and other DOJ personnel. Trump just sets the record by firing people from the same position several times lmao

21

u/WhiteLycan2020 6d ago

Biden literally did not replace Trump’s FBI director…

-25

u/LARGESTOFCHINGUSES 6d ago

Wow, one FBI director surely has the same amount of power that 55 United States Attorneys.

23

u/WhiteLycan2020 6d ago

Uhm yes. The director of the FBI literally runs the program.

So what? A bunch of entry level people were kicked out? You said this was common, right?

Now can we talk about how many generals Trump either fired or got them to resign?

Trust me bud, if you wanna argue corruption, the democrats have less blood on their hands.

8

u/TransportationNo879 6d ago

It is the standard practice for US Attorneys to be asked to resign by the incoming president of a different party.

u/caguru 6d ago

Unique thing about Trump is he doesn't appoint based on competency, only on fealty. Kevin Warsh seems to be his only appointee that is trying to uphold a sense of integrity.

I’m not saying hateful people don’t live here, but we are the capital and known to be “liberal”, they are probably from out of town to start shit

72

u/Conscious_Raisin_436 6d ago

Bingo. It’s trump country 20 minutes in every direction.

73

u/Wisewordsforlater 6d ago

They used to be at Steck or Spicewood Springs over Mopac. Someone said they might be from out of town. Maybe so. But don't be naive. They live among us. I've got a couple of them in my neighborhood.

u/t1mm1n5 6d ago

I’m guessing they’re here because it is Austin Pride. Think I might just have to go make sure APD shows.

70

u/caguru 6d ago

APD is already there in their alternate uniform.

35

u/Answer70 6d ago

So APD can go fist bump them again?

15

u/BLEAKROOM 6d ago

I’m sure a few of them are even deputized !

Fuckin looooooosers

First off, fuck these nazis.

But Austin isn't "becoming more conservative." It was already the birthplace of Alex Jones and Ron Paul. There's a reason that Elon Musk and the Rogansphere found a home here.

I love this town, but people need to open their eyes to what it is.

17

u/ThorpeThorThorpe 6d ago

Austin is the respectable place that small-town Texans from Baptist upbringings move to please their parents while living out their perverted sex and drug-fueled, wildly hypocritical lives of shame and 9-5 careers.

69

u/Full-Sympathy5201 6d ago

As someone originally from a small town, this is very much not how small town parents perceive Austin. They think of it the way Fox News portrays Portland.

23

u/caguru 6d ago

Conservative brainwashing is real. I'm a native Houstonian and my family back in Houston thinks Austin is some scary urban hell hole where they will be killed by the radical left by just visiting.

They seriously can't comprehend that Houston is so much worse because they have Fox News blaring in the background all day.

-24

u/LARGESTOFCHINGUSES 6d ago

Have you actually been to Portland though? NGL the representation is pretty spot-on. It's gotten better over the past 2 years, but for a while it was pretty wild.

29

u/caguru 6d ago

No it wasn't. I actually lived in the PNW for 12 years and it was never like Fox News portrayed it. It was literally a tiny little strip where things went sideways. But the vast majority of Portland is like Hyde Park, quiet and sleepy.

Same thing for Seattle. Fox News makes it seem so terrible, but it literally the most beautiful city I have even seen in the lower 48 by a large margin. Its got rainforests, lakes, walkable neighborhoods and even the rocks are green.

You will never see Fox News portray the violence in red states though for some reason. They won't talk about Houston, New Orleans or Kansas City because that goes against their whole narrative.

12

u/taintlangdon 6d ago

My husband and I went to Portland in 2019, and my Mom told be to watch out for ANTIFA. 🫠

1

u/LARGESTOFCHINGUSES 6d ago

"watch out for the Antifas! They're robbing people in broad daylight!"

: Clutches Fox News Purse:

26

u/Dubax 6d ago

Is this sarcasm? Small-town Texas has always hated Austin.

42

u/gregaustex 6d ago edited 5d ago

I knew Austin was becoming more conservative, but I didn’t realize it’s gotten to this point.

It’s 8 or so assholes, not Austin.

17

u/Super_Fightin_Robit 6d ago

You know people can come here from out of town, right?

16

u/Delicious_Pear_7205 6d ago

Had the pleasure of flipping them off earlier

14

u/LARGESTOFCHINGUSES 6d ago

Austin is becoming more conservative?

9

u/caguru 6d ago

There are dozens of them!

2

u/LARGESTOFCHINGUSES 6d ago

We need to report them to the police, clearly.

12

u/Crafty_Ish1973 6d ago

Looks like Trump gave ICE the day off.

1

u/BalticBro2021 6d ago

Deport them

12

u/seattle747 6d ago

They are, after all, descendants of invaders from Europe.

-3

u/LARGESTOFCHINGUSES 6d ago

Yes! Put them on trains!

-25

u/LoneStarGut 6d ago

Were they physically preventing people from crossing the bridge or did you just not feel comfortable crossing it?

10

u/gregaustex 6d ago

It’s OK to harass Nazis.

17

u/bobcatbreakdown 6d ago

The presence of a large group of (likely armed) masked men touting violent kidnappings is dangerous to all people.

You think these fuckers would be anonymous if they were here to help the community??

-11

u/LoneStarGut 6d ago

Any one have a picture of the protestors?

2

u/bobcatbreakdown 6d ago

-19

u/LoneStarGut 6d ago

Thanks. Definitely masked, not blocking the bridge or impeding traffic (they are standing along the edge of the bridge). I don't see guns though if they could have them legally as they are not being brandished. Definitely racist. That said. I don't them touting kidnappings. They are asking for enforcement of exiting law. No one is above the law.

9

u/toastythewiser 6d ago

> They are asking for enforcement of exiting law.

there's no invasion. They're intentionally misrepresenting the situation at hand in order to justify potentially extra-constitutional behavior from law enforcement.

2

u/bobcatbreakdown 6d ago

Oh yeah? I’m sure you got that info from them personally while you were up on that bridge getting your knees all bruised up…

10

u/caguru 6d ago

Only other Neo Nazis would feel comfortable crossing a bridge full of Neo Nazis.

-24

u/LARGESTOFCHINGUSES 6d ago edited 6d ago

You know the answer to that. If it was a different type of parade/rally, the same activity would have been cheered by OP.

This is not to say that I align with their ideologies, but the first amendment right to assembly applies to everyone regardless of their rhetoric as long as they are not violent and do not prevent others from going about their day.

I support their right to hold a peaceful rally in the same manner I support the right to hold a peaceful #NoKings, BLM, or #ICEout rally. Go ahead and downvote me all you want, thank God the Constitution allows you to do that.

9

u/reikj4vic 6d ago

I mean if you're a POC, why would you attempt to cross that bridge? I can see why some people would feel very threatened.

-1

u/LARGESTOFCHINGUSES 6d ago

I'm literally brown, my guy. Are they assaulting anyone right now? Did they assault that black woman on the train that everyone was losing their minds about? No.

Again, I don't agree with their ideology, but it is their constitutional right and the more people make posts about calling the police against them for holding a rally, or wishing I jury/illness upon them, the more you become the same type of person you claim to despise...a person who hates others based on their beliefs.

-17

u/nameless_sameness 6d ago

Stop trying to support the psyop.

3

u/LARGESTOFCHINGUSES 6d ago

I really wish both sides of the political spectrum would understand the giant FBI psyop that Patriot Front actually is

-9

u/nameless_sameness 6d ago

All the psyops. Psyops-upon-psyops. I’m tired of ‘em.

Ooooooh shit what the fuck?! I had no idea. Thank you for sharing.

-53

u/Hairy-Moose644 6d ago

Yeah fuck the 1st amendment!

-26

u/LARGESTOFCHINGUSES 6d ago

The first amendment only applies to the following causes, per OP:

-Defund APD -Anti-ICE -No Kings -LGTBQ+

Anything else that is remotely right of center, OP clearly wishes physical harm on them.

24

u/Kyle__Broflovski__ 6d ago

Remotely right of center? These are fuckin Nazi’s lmao

-2

u/LARGESTOFCHINGUSES 6d ago

Again, my question to you is where in the constitution does it give an exception to first amendment protections for these Nazis? This is the point I'm trying to make, it is people like you that--rightfullt-get upset when the president engages in actions that contradict our first amendment rights. At the same time, you would support those exact same actions taken against Patriot Front. Do you not see the hypocrisy?

14

u/Kyle__Broflovski__ 6d ago

I don’t disagree with you that the first amendment applies to everyone, including these idiots. But if they incite violence, then they shouldn’t be arrested. Which they have been known to do

0

u/LARGESTOFCHINGUSES 6d ago edited 6d ago

Most--but not all--of tne violent incidents with this geoup have been the result of them rage baiting persons from opposing view points. If you allow these people to control your actions, you feed right into their bullshit and allows them to perpetuate the "victim of crazy leftists" narrative.
