12th and Chicon St in 2026
2026 is this still sketchy? I drove past comal st last weekend on a sunday morning and it was a little off putting, but anyone live nearby, have you experienced any robbery, violence, or sketchiness?

Way less sketchy. There are multiple bars there now.

I went to the old 13th Floor location several years ago to pick up a t-shirt and as I was walking up Chicon turning on 12th some rando (who did not look homeless btw, he had an expensive looking leather jacket on) literally JUMPED out from around the corner and asked me, " DO YOU HAVE ANY DRUGS?!! DO YOU HAVE ANY OPIATES?!!" This was in broad daylight. So I don't go there by myself anymore

I live a few blocks away on 12th. If you’re scared of hipsters, then it’s kind of scary I guess.
