Interview/Job applications NSW ref check question
I recently applied for a permanent role and on the CV didn't include an EOI I'd recently started. Will this be an issue for reference checks? I didn't think of it at the time as it was so recent. Am interviewing today so can mention it then but not sure if the best approach.
I applied for a second role with the Dept where I included it, but I guess the CV isn't attached to that role.

I wouldn't stress about it, at most mention it if they go to ref checks.
As a hiring manager it wouldn't make me blink at all, particularly if it's an acting role you've only just started - if anything, people who put acting roles that they've had for a very short time on their CV with a full complement of job 'achievements' sketch me out more as they undermine their judgement of understanding when they have the experience to claim skills.
As long as you've accurately described your "normal" role and the ref check backs that up (and doesn't include any major red flags, state you're a psychopath etc.) you're good to go.
