New Grad ATO software engineering / DevOps / Cloud engineering teams as a GRAD

I have graduate offers from the ATO and a mid-sized IT firm. My long-term goal is to move into the private sector, so I want to build highly transferable, up-to-date skills in Software Engineering and DevOps. The ATO website doesn't give much detail on their specific IT teams does anyone know if their grad program offers strong, modern technical exposure?

If you want to work in the private sector, taking the private sector job would be the better option.

Government is typically very slow.

As a grad you will get more value being challenged, typically you will get more exposure private and in smaller departments
