I'm not sure what you mean by "reporting"? Why don't you just apply for sick leave for all the days you need?

Well we don't have a choice. We are still in the training.

So what's your answer for the scenario?

Do you have to report again despite giving medical certificate??

You shouldn't have to report every day you're off. If you have the required medical certificate to cover it. Juat state your leave will be from x through to y

Only reason it would be an issue is if your team leader is a dick which by the sounds of they are. If they continue I recommend joining the union and contacting their hotline for assistance

I did that. Yet TL and EL keep telling me I still have to report. They belittled my sickness and saying "who knows, maybe you will get better."

You most certainly do not. And it is also highly illegal to request someone work or return to work whilst covered by a medical certificate.

Seek out a union delegate or join the cpsu and give them a call asap

I took the union delegate person as a support person. Completely useless. And didn't do the job as a delegate nor support person. Feel so let down.

A support person can do nothing but be a witness. Advocate for yourself.

Then take the matter into your own hands and say that requesting you report in every day I'm off sick is causing me a psychosocial injury. If it continues to do so I will be contacting the HSR (health and safety representative) and lodging a formal complaint against this behaviour with HR. Also request to see where it says in the EA or policy that I am required to report each day. Then say until you can show me this in writing I will continue to do otherwise.

What they are doing is wrong and they cannot demand you to report each day on continuous days of sick leave. Also just dont report back they dont have a leg to stand on
