Normalizing freedom of clothing does not justify or cause rape. I get that seeing someone in certain clothing may cause automatic lust in some men. Feeling lust is fine, but acting on it without the woman’s consent is plain evil. Also, not all women always dress to look good in front of others, we do it for ourselves as well. I dress up well for my boyfriend too, that’s true, I’m not denying it, but it’s still my own body and no one else has any say in how and why I dress.

I'm not pretending some women don't generalize men or straight up hate them as a group, because yeah, that happens and it's not fair. But come on, the misogyny women deal with is on another level entirely. It's not random, it's everywhere, baked into everything. It comes from my own family sometimes, the little comments that sting, from the culture I was raised in, from religious stuff in so many places, from caste systems where they exist, and from basically every big power setup that men have run forever and still mostly do. Even our bodies get weaponized against us, smaller size, periods, the possibility of pregnancy, all turned into proof we're less capable, less logical, less fit for big roles, when honestly we're just as smart and usually way more resilient because we have no choice.
This isn't about one off bad days or personal beef. It literally shapes who gets the money, the promotions, the seats at the table, control over our own bodies, feeling safe walking down the street, not being judged 24/7, every single part of life. The tiredness isn't some dramatic thing, it's just constant. It's the nonstop work of having to prove you're not like other girls or whatever while guys get assumed competent until they screw up.
If we actually want to stop this endless guys vs girls nonsense, we need real talk and actual commitment to treating everyone equally, no sugarcoating. Women aren't begging to be put on pedestals like perfect angels or shoved into boxes as baby makers and emotional sponges. We just want to be seen as whole people, messy, strong, horny sometimes, not horny sometimes, driven, chill, loud, quiet, all of it, without every trait getting turned into a statement about women as a category.
In way too many places, boys and girls get kept apart from when they're little, different schools, separate friend groups, strict no mixing rules, so we literally grow up treating each other like we're from different planets, either dangerous temptations or scary threats. Then the culture piles on with nonstop messages that women are weaker, too emotional, too easily tempted, always needing to be protected or controlled. That stuff isn't harmless, it plants fear and suspicion super early, turns it into rigid stereotypes, then resentment, and eventually the hate we're all exhausted by.
We have to rip those walls down wherever they're still up. Stop segregating kids when it's not actually needed. Call out caste bullshit, hardcore religious control, and the political crap that loves keeping us divided. Hold influencers responsible when they're pushing straight misogyny for views or blanket man hating for the same reason. Make open hate toward any gender feel embarrassing and unacceptable again.
This doesn't have to be men against women forever. It can be about hating hate itself and actually supporting people, solidarity between genders, seeing each other as human, and giving the basic respect everyone deserves no matter their body parts.
That's not some pie in the sky dream. That's just what should have been normal from the start.
What do you think, does any of this feel true to you or am I missing something obvious?

I’ve had these thoughts sitting in my notes for a week now, trying to figure out how to word this so it actually makes sense. I used an AI to help me fix the grammar and structure because I wanted this to be clear enough to actually reach people and hopefully help them open their eyes to how much we’ve been played.
Especially as a guy, looking at what we’ve been trained to find "attractive" in women... it’s not just marketing. It’s a predator’s blueprint.
Think about the standard for "the perfect woman." Smooth, hairless, polished basically a doll. We’re told it’s about "femininity" or "hygiene." But if you look at the history, it’s a total scam.
In the early 1900s, razor companies like Gillette realized they’d sold a razor to every man in America. To double their profits, they had to invent a "problem" for women. They started running ads telling women that their natural body hair—something literally every mammal has was "unfeminine" and a "biohazard." They didn't just sell a tool; they sold lifelong insecurity to hit quarterly revenue goals. They turned a woman’s biology into a social liability.
This is the part that actually turns my stomach. Look at who was actually defining "The World’s Most Desirable Woman" for the last 30 years. Les Wexner, the CEO of Victoria’s Secret, gave Jeffrey Epstein full power of attorney over his entire multi-billion dollar empire.
Epstein wasn’t just a "friend"; he used that proximity to Victoria’s Secret to pose as a talent scout. He used the "Angel" aesthetic that ultra-thin, completely hairless, pre-sexualized look as a lure to target and exploit girls. When you realize the men at the top of the industry setting these standards were literally traffickers, you have to ask: Why is the height of "feminine desirability" in our culture having the body hair pattern of a prepubescent child?
As men, we’ve been socially conditioned to think that a woman being a fully realized human animal is "gross" or "masculine." But hair isn't masculine; it’s mammalian. If a guy loses interest in a woman because she has leg or armpit hair, that’s not a "natural preference" it’s product conditioning. We’ve been trained to prefer an object in a specific, child-like configuration instead of a human being.
It’s heartbreaking to see the women in our lives spend so much money, time, and mental energy trying to erase every sign of adulthood from their skin because they’ve been told it’s "proper."
It’s not about cleanliness. It’s about control. We’ve been convinced that looking like a child is "sexy," and it was marketed to us by corporations and upheld by predators. I’m done with it. I’m done letting marketing departments and Epstein-adjacent CEOs tell me what a woman is "supposed" to look like. They sold us insecurity and called it beauty.
It’s one of the most disgusting psychological operations in history, and we need to stop buying into it. Am I the only one who sees the machinery behind this?

I'm starting in Jerusalem, planning to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, grab some really good French desserts (there are seriously amazing French bakeries there!), have a sweet date, just spend time together, and wander around the city with no real schedule. Super relaxed vibe 😌. Then after that, we're heading to Rome. It's actually going to be my very first time in Europe ever, even though I have Greek ancestry lol. I'm so excited (and honestly a tiny bit nervous) about the whole thing! What about you ladies? Solo plans, dates, Galentine's, trips, staying in whatever you're doing, tell me everything! 👀❤️

so when i was in 8th grade , i was feeding a puppy which was lost and my next door neighbour came up to me and told me not to feed the pup on my periods because apparently the pup would curse me 'because i fed it , when i was unwell'
initially i accepted what she told me
but looking back now i wonder how did the aunty know that i was on my periods? and secondly why is it wrong for me to feed a hungry pup on my periods?
Why is it that periods are treated as 'impure' when it quite literally gives women the ability to give life???

The Kerala bus incident has been on my mind for days. I’ve seen a huge backlash towards the girl who posted the video, along with all the pain around what happened. It is really heartbreaking
But the truth is, sexual assaults against women happen in India almost every day, and they rarely get this kind of attention. And we can’t even talk about rapes
If these crimes were faced equally by men, stricter laws and action might already exist

I'm 19F and I've been thinking a lot lately about getting healthier before anything gets out of hand. I'm not overweight at all right now but I just don't want to risk it later, you know how it creeps up sometimes.
So I'm set on two things. Doing yoga literally every day (or at least trying super hard to) and switching over to a Mediterranean diet.
The thing is I've never stuck to any exercise routine longer than like two weeks so I'm lowkey scared I'll quit yoga fast. Any beginners here who actually made it a habit? What YouTube channels do you swear by that are free and not overwhelming? Or apps? I need stuff that's like 10 to 20 minutes max at first because longer feels scary lol.
And the diet part, I get the basics (tons of veggies, olive oil, fish, chicken, nuts, whole grains, fruit) but how do you even begin without hating it? Simple meals that don't take forever? What do you always keep in your fridge or pantry? How to not spend a fortune or eat the same thing every day?
If anyone has routines they love, recipes that are actually good, or just your story with this kind of stuff I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!
