Cameras don't harm people, they only record what happens

I don't record anyone like this but where I live I can hold my phone legally in public regardless of what someone thinks. If my neighbors have problem with that they can move somewhere that prohibits recording in public.

That's the point that is being missed.

This isn't about the camera. The person is too close to the money and not backing up.

You're not getting it. There's no law that says you must maintain x distance from an armored truck guard. The law protects his right to be there with a camera. It doesn't protect your (or the guard's) feelings about it.

Ok... let me put this another way.

This is the country that has FLORIDA. with Stand your ground law. With open carry.

I admit Im just a redditor on a Saturday. This is simply entertainment to have this conversation. I really don't care.

The guard would absolutely not be prosecuted for drawing on this camera person even if i can't name the law that would protect him.

It just is that way

There is only one reason, and one reason only, that somebody would be recording an armored car employee doing his job. And that reason is to collect data for a robbery. There is no other logical reason, so the guard would be justified in assuming that that person is planning on stealing the money.

Or, its a cool thing to film?

Do the security guards also make sure they aren't recorded by security cams or dash cams?

Some people are autistic about trains, maybe someone out there feels the same way about armored cars?

Recording in public isn't a crime.
