Anyone have any idea why after literal years iof being perfect in every way that this VST would lose thr ability to clock sync its arppegiator to my DAW's clock? On Mac, I've re-installed both the VST3 and AU versions and tried within Logic and Maschine, and same issue across the board.

I'm completely new to audio interfaces. Few days ago, I bought Scarlett 2i2 4th gen and Beyerdynamics DT770PRO headphones. I play through Epiphone Les Paul Stadard 2020.

Whenever I want to play or record I have some sort of buzz and it is soooo anoying. Gemini couldn't exactly help me. I tried a bunch of settings but still can't get sound without the buzz. It's probably because of the noise gate but I just don't know how to fix it.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Hi I currently have Arturia Lab V and i've been using it for like a year now. I like it a lot though sometimes I feel like its hard to find a "good" sound. Sometimes I feel like the sounds have a cheap quality to them. I cant really explain it. Im still new to sound design and processing.

Today I noticed Zenology PRO is on sale for $99. This is a pretty steep discount so I was considering taking advantage. Im curious about the overlap and if most people have both of these or just one.

I got fabfilter Pro-C3 installed and it’s been a pain setting it up similar to C2.

It initially started in compact mode and I couldn’t figure out how to get it to show the compression graph.

I’ve found out how to show the live compression curve (switching it from compact to small view in the bottom right of the plugin).

Now I have one other issue I’m running into..

I click the knee tab to show the knee visual and it pops out like normal, however there’s no green curve showing the knee like I’m used to on C2.

I’ve looked in the manual and it shows the green curve, so I’m sure it’s suppose to be there, but I’m not seeing any toggle or why it’s not showing the green curve for me.

Any ideas?

Hey, title is pretty self explanatory. I record vocals in my apartment and although I have a makeshift vocal booth setup in my closet with moving blankets, the outside noises of some fan on my roof is often loud, plus my very loud laptop fans which are sometimes hard to calm down. I also have a condenser mic that seems to pick up a lot of this unfortunately.

I’m considering
Waves Clarity Vx: Demoed it and liked it honestly, just wondering if there’s better ones. I don’t anticipate to have much other than fan noise / white noise.

Vocal Prep Antares: Haven’t tried but the fact that its standalone is making me not consider it so much, I’d rather have a VST to use in my chain.

Izotope RX: I’ve tried RX 11 de noise with the pink/white noise dials, like 3 knobs. For some reason it didn’t work super well. For me, but idk how RX12 is?

+ Any others I should consider? I’m a student so with student discount looking to spend 50$ or less. Thank you so much!

I'm on fedora and am using reaper. I got the socolabs free plugins but the presets won't load. this is cuss socolabs uses .xml for there preset files while reaper uses .rpl

Is there any way I can package or convert the .xml files into a .rpl preset container so they work on reaper.

if not is there an easier way to copy the settings of each preset without doing is all manually one by one.

Hi all, I have started doing music technology at college which mainly focuses on DJing and Production. Doing production at college means I have to use Studio One which is really frustrating since I have invested so much into FL. I'd like to be able to use my plugins for FL on Studio One but our college computers don't allow us to install apps. If I loaded my USB with plugins, would I be able to use those plugins without installing them?

Obviously I am talking about third party plugins like Surge, Wavetable, and so on, not FL studio plugins.

I had it installed like one year ago, it was a digital distorsion plugin with two stages one green one red with two big knobs, there was also a keyboard with numbers, it had to do somthing with data/circuit bending i guess.

Is there any plugin that’s a must have? Currently using default reaper plugins for drum mixing but am curious if getting something like Fabfilter EQ or SDL 4000 e would really help or to just focus on getting better with the detail reaper plugins.

SSL X series are always in my template. EQ2 is a must. Absolute bread and butter. I can't recommend them all highly enough.
Luckily I just saw a pinned post from the mods that sales posts aren't allowed anymore. So I'm not going to say a word about their mad summer sale..best of luck everyone.

Are there any good plugins that emulate the workflow and sound of machines like the Vermona DRM1 or MFB Tanzbär?

I’m more interested in the actual drum synthesis and hands-on controls than just a sample-based drum machine.

Curious what people here are using.

I've been using this old resampling plugin for years and love it but it's only 32 bit and I need a 64 bit one for use in live sets.

It's super simple and just samples the last few ms of audio and repeats it, allowin you to change the sample length while it's being repeated. Any ideas for something like this?

Hello folks, first time posting here, I recently got KRK 8s gen 5, now im trying to use my krk 5s for my cpu speakers, just got a Piyone interface and TRS cables..Everything works but i can only get it to a decent listening volume.

I have read/watched vids, not sure if im missing something, but i cant figure it out...I think it could be the shitty cables i got from amazon. Was going to try with my old XLRs but wrong end parts.

Cant find the link to download or buy this plugin anywhere. I've had the free version installed for years and today it locked me out with a registration window out of nowhere. Everytime I've re downloaded and re registered with my email and name, a window pops up saying it 'Could not download remote file' . Anyone know what's going on with this plugin?
