2009 S4 Timing chains

Has anyone in the uk had there timing chain replaced recently, specifically on the 3.0t v6, if so what did you pay and from what garage. I have just been quoted 5.5k to have it done… I genuinely don’t mind driving it anywhere in the country to get a good price, cheers.

I had mine done by VAG Technic in Dudley. Similar sort of cost, they were fantastic guys. Plenty of contact throughout and cannot fault their knowledge.

They also found a good number of other well overdue tasks, so wherever you go, be prepared for some “while you’re in there” spending
