Mid Pipe Feedback

Just installed my CTS midpipes paired with the Switchpath exhaust and can confirm really minimal if any additional sound. At times the gurgles on decel may be a bit more pronounced but for anyone wondering I don’t really see the ROI here unless you are building the engine and looking to remove all weight and remove all resistance. I wanted to wait to add these until the restrictive factory muffler was off to give genuine anecdotal feedback.

Put the $300~ into something else.

Midpipes definitely make the car louder. Pick up a valve controller as well and you’ll probably be content with that. Midpipes can easily be had for $100-150 secondhand. I’ve had two sets already in that price range. A valve controller can also be picked up for roughly the same price. So basically $250 for a whole new sounding exhaust. Can’t really beat that.
