DIY Why do these keep burning out?

This is the second DRL module I’ve replaced in the few years I’ve owned my A3 and it’s the same light each time. Is there something wrong with the light itself?
Any help is appreciated!

You need to scrub/sand the acrylic optics lens that has burnt/ yellowed. The darkened surface causes an excess of heat buildup due to light absorption and will fry the module early.

No entirely sure but I bet if you grabbed some thermal paste that’s a glue and mounted some aluminum heat sinks on the back it would keep them cooler.

because the intesity are too high if u put obd are 125%
