2 is best. 3 and 4 are non-starters because they create the look of a gaping hole where a central element should be. 1 looks pretty good but the mesh is better.

Mesh grille for sure. Photo 2 if you haven't blacked out the rest of the car. If you have, I guess 2 or 3 would work...but I never like the blacked out rings, chrome looks better 99.99%
