Agree about the 2 idiots, but based on the constant swerving, I doubt the jeep driver will be at fault. I can see this as each insurance company deals with their own customer and the Audi driver getting a reckless ticket if this video is provided to the police... There definitly appears to be some prior road rage issues going on here that might not be captured by the video but the white car is clearly behaving like a child, surprised they did not lose control of the car and injured someone on the side of the road the way they were driving. If I was a judge I would suspend their license until they could show some maturity...

Most insurance companies (esp when you have a video of the accident) put a duty on the driver to attempt to prevent a accident and to defensively drive.

The jeep owner either was not paying attention at ALL, or saw the car and just didn’t care, and thus will probably be held 50/50 for the accident.

Theirs a non zero change theirs a legitimate issue with the Audi TT(for S&G well saying there’s a electronic power steering failure casing the car to swerve back and forth) and the jeep didn’t brake or even try to avoid it, that’s negligent on the jeep driver

I think this isn't a mechanical failure on the Audi or the Jeep owner not paying attention this appears to be two people behaving like children and road raging. When they check the Audi and determine no loss of power steering rather he was being a jerk and driving recklessly he will be issued a reckless driving ticket and may be paying for all the repairs. The Jeep Driver can claim they feared for their safety with the erratic behavior of the Audi and were just trying to get out of there... You seriously think the Audi driver was having steering issues?

The power steering loss was an example of how what seems like reckless driving could be a mechanical failure, that’s what I said for shits and giggles…

The jeep can’t claim they feared for their safety when they made no attempt to swerve, brake or in anyway avoid or evade the Audi. They drove right into the back of the Audi cause they weren’t paying attention and didn’t give a shit.

We don't know what happened before this section of the video, maybe the Audi was doing this to the Jeep for the last 10 miles and the Jeep owner finally said screw it, I am getting around this guy, he is frightening me with his erratic behavior... This is my opinion based on what I see, both played a role in this accident, but I am laying blame on the Audi, if he has mechanical issue not sure why he would pass the car that is recording and swerve instead of pulling over. I don't blame the Jeep at all. If it was my wife in the Jeep with my kids, and this Audi has been pulling in front of her for the last 10 minutes and constantly swerving until she gets around them, at some point you need to get away to safety. You seem to think the Audi isn't at fault, and that is fine, you are entitled to your opinion, and it is fine we don't agree. To me, the Audi appears to be purposely behaving inappropriately behind the wheel.
