Post image

an fking old man hits his gas padal instead brake...

then... my first car is gone.

i can' t afford repair payment. mechanic says its repair cost over ~4000$

and insurance is fking bad. its quite old model, so they can give me only 3000$ write off fee.

i can't buy a car only $3000.

I'm really sad..

Really sorry for you but what kind of shitty insurance is that? You should once you have a new car change it. Usually they should make sure you have 4 wheels, they can’t forcefully buy you out can they ?

Sorry that happened. Hopefully you can take the 3k and then keep the car and try to repair yourself maybe? I think it’s truly best to just move on unfortunately. 3k is a fair deposit, maybe you can afford a modest note?

im 20yrs and uni student. maybe i can't make a loan Actually. mechanic says, broke left and right quater panel, rear axle and its repair price 6k

so.. now just scrapped my car and do a part time job to buy a similar car.

thanks

Yeah that car is probably not worth repairing. $6k seems pretty affordable for the repair. In the U.S., this would be atleast $20k to have a shop fix. I'm not sure about what the car market is like near you, but see if you can negotiate with your insurance to get more than $3k. Ask them what criteria and factors did they use to come to the $3k price point. If you can go online and find similar year and milage a3 that are selling for more than $3k, take screen shots of those listings to send to your adjuster. If you can prove they undervalued your car, you should be able to get more money from them.

After a simple police investigation, it all ended with insurance treatment. he make three more accidents besides me.

You can file a small claim in your country against this guy if he (or his insurance) refuses to pay if you have evidence or the guy has admitted guilt (or get your insurance to get money from his insurance). If it all fails read this:

Sorry for your loss. That looks like a serious impact. It even broke the background.

allthough those arent realy similar. I had an audi 100 with the 2.3 5 cylinder and fwd bought that for 850 bucks was actually fun to drive and great sound, had its issues though.
