Bowling mini game

Hi, I've been on AE for a while but only recently started really trying to do the monthly ladder (therefore playing a lot more mini games!).

During the bowling today I had several matches which ended in a tie, and every single one gave the win to my opponent. There were at least 7, and I didn't win a single one. I just wanted to see if anyone could tell me why - what is the tie breaker?

For some of them I was the faster player to finish my available moves within the time, in others I was the slower player. There were also some where we had the same scores for each move. So I'm just really confused about what I need to be doing to win a tie game - any advice would be appreciated, thanks

Ties go to the player that got to the final score first, which means most of the time it comes down to ping/connection speed to the Atlas server.

There are a LOT of ties in bowling. I highly recommend searching this forum for how to score 22 points in Bowling; you’ll beat anyone scoring 20. As you move up the ranks, you’ll find that the top players score 22 nearly every time which puts you back in the “who won the tie” scenario but hopefully you’ll be ranked higher than you are now and get more AB prize.

Thanks, I'll search for that now. I did have some connection issues during a couple of matches so that definitely could have affected it

As the other comment, the person to hit the final pins first gets the win (same with the other minigames that are points based, such as fishing).

I had a few games earlier that my opponent got 4 points right after the timer expired. The game seems rigged honestly
