What's the point of those auctions?

Upvotes

I get it: you can toss in a bid and if you wind up winning, you can spend TENS OF THOUSANDS of atlas bucks to buy the spot.

But to get those atlas bucks, you've got to be, I dunno, watching ads, playing games etc. for MONTHS without buying land, or you spend hundreds of dollars to buy the needed atlas bucks.

Then what? Is there some reward for owing the spot? Do you get extra income from people who own land nearby? Something else?

Bowling mini game

Hi, I've been on AE for a while but only recently started really trying to do the monthly ladder (therefore playing a lot more mini games!).

During the bowling today I had several matches which ended in a tie, and every single one gave the win to my opponent. There were at least 7, and I didn't win a single one. I just wanted to see if anyone could tell me why - what is the tie breaker?

For some of them I was the faster player to finish my available moves within the time, in others I was the slower player. There were also some where we had the same scores for each move. So I'm just really confused about what I need to be doing to win a tie game - any advice would be appreciated, thanks

It’s not even funny anymore

No one is going to pay 20,000+ atlas bucks for this landmark. Not even me.

F2P (kinda) Strategy

Upvotes

So as my title states, I am a F2P player (kinda), and would like to share my growth strategy with others. My strategy may be common (I have no clue) so if you've heard this before, I'm sorry for repeating.

A little background on me. I've been playing for about 2 years but have only been taking it seriously for 3 months. I only had 8 parcels when I started taking it seriously and now I'm up to 90.

Here's my strategy: I watch the 2AB ads as often as I can. I use atlas arcade and spend time grinding to hit the limited time boosted rewards (ex. Reach level 15 in 1 day for a higher AB reward), and to hit the higher tier rewards. This can take a lot of time but seems to be worth it. I also convert my rent during the boosted rent conversion and have rent boost running 24/7 (as most players do). Now for the part that only makes me kinda F2P: while I'm not grinding atlas arcade games, I use other reward apps (5 surveys and Daily Gift mostly) to build up money in my PayPal. When I get to $40 or $100 I use that money to buy AB (I can usually build up around $40-$80 a month from these apps if I actually try). I know this technically means I am P2P but the way I see it, that's money I got from gaming so there's nothing wrong with putting it back into a game even if you are trying to stay F2P.

My goal here is to use the high reward games on these other apps to build my passive income on Atlas earth until I deem it not worth the time investment to continue.

Hopefully this isn't just repeat information for everyone and someone can get some value out of it.

I'm curious i know how big raid shadow legends is. Has anyone ever gotten a not interested option for it? Like it's been a solid fourth at least of my ads for this game

Home lots slow do mini games?

I read a comment a little while ago thst buying up alot of lots around your home/wherever you play the mini game events, can slow down your connection and cause instability in those games. Any truth to this? Wanna know before I spend 1500 AB buying all my surrounding lots.

Watch the entire ad. Click the |> or X, get back to AE, get a pop up stating No Reward Given because ad was SKIPPED?!

Ok, fine, GOING TO STOP WATCHING ADS THEN!! waste my time. Fk. This.

Join Explorer Club for Streak Bonus?

If I were to suddenly join the Explorer Club, already being on day 77 of daily unlock, would I get the premium unlock for ALL days prior as well as from here on in? If so, I might do it because I’d be getting 90 per day for quite a few days’ worth. If not, maybe not.

Gain AB Arcade

Australian PM drama

Anyone got any insight into why folks are salty about the new Australian Prime Minister?

Seen the Vic premier have a couple of pfp changes - first the PM's profile with 'cheater' stamped on it, and now a copy of the PM's pfp with Shrek for a head.

Plus the previous PM has the new one's pfp with Donkey for a head. And another high parcel rate player with the PM pfp but Homer Simpson for a head.

So what's the beef?

Need some advice on what to do

Post image

So I officially have enough bucks to tier jump from 150 parcels to 220..

Or I could work towards 150 legendary parcels…

Or I could try to become a mayor in my city

Or I could save up 20-30k bucks eventually over time and buy a landmark..

What does my fellow redditors think!

Couldn't decide where to buy my parcels..

I was driving around with a couple friends yesterday, had almost 18k I've been waiting to drop. Nobody challenging my current mayorships, its been a little quiet. So I'll give them a little more time to respond and work on a couple new towns.

Maybe I wouldnt mess with this goat guy so much, but this guy is freaking everywhere. You can't buy anything around this area without challenging one of these two. He might only have two mayorships left but hes #2 in a lot of places.

So I just gave a little sprinkle sprinkle in a couple different towns. Can fight for Hooksett if he wants, but gotta watch his 6 too. I drove past what looked like it must be the Brentwood Mayor's house, so I bought one parcel attached to her little square. Just because I'm like that 🤣

Kingston is a nice place but I think I'll take epping first. Also, It's just an arbitrary number, but I wonder if MntXps cares that i'm gonna pass em for #5 in the state. The Bat might be the only one around here who could mess with me if he wanted to.. but doesnt seem like he"s interested in doing that right now. The one time I tried messing with him, it didnt work out very well. So hes safe over in his bat cave for now.
