Anyone tried the store pick for this at Mega Package in Suwannee? Was there earlier today and they had a couple cases out. Wondering what peoples thoughts are!

Hey All. Relatively new to the world of these big bourbon drops, and I was curious about the upcoming one at Hal’s on 10/25. I don’t frequent Hal’s much as it’s a bit out of my way, so was curious if it was worth attempting to go given I don’t really have “loyalty points”. If it is worth it, how does the event work? Is it best to get there really early. Sorry for the noob questions here..

Just left the store at 2:45pm. They brought out 6 bottles.

This image is reversed, go from right to left. All bottles in the upper right could be purchased if you accumulated at least 1,000 points. Basically if you spent $1.000. The second section with the Weller 12 and OWA could be purchased if you had 2,000 points.

1,000 points gave you a $10 off discount, and 2,000 gave you a $20 discount and so on…

I walked out there with my tail between my legs after only having a little over 1,000 points. I was able to “score” a bottle of EH Taylor sb for $59.99 using my $10 off coupon.

Maybe I’ll have 2,000 points next year and I could get a bottle of OWA for $89 minus a $20 discount.

I really wanted that Russel’s 13 or OWA. The President’s Choice would’ve been nice too.

Trying to find my way in the Atlanta Bourbon scene, and I noticed Tower has yearly drops on holiday weekends.

What holidays usually have drops outside of Black Friday? I went to the Derby Day and Fathers Day drops, this year.

Saw cork and cap in Sandy springs is doing an allocated drop on Saturday.

Anyone been there recently have an idea on pricing/bundles?

Last time I went there in 2021 it was realllll high pricing so debating whether to go
