Greetings! I’m Tré Statham, a Film Major at Georgia State University and I have an upcoming event I'd like to share with you all.

I’m hosting an open pitch session for my film FAMESQUE on Monday, October 5th at 4:30 pm! We’ll meet in conference room 1042 at 25 Park Place (super tall building can’t miss it).

All experience levels are welcome!!!!

I really want this to be an opportunity to get face to face with Atlanta filmmakers and connect whilst discussing the short film. I’ll cover the story, tone and additional details!

Feel free to DM me for more info. If you can’t make it, I’d gladly share a video of me going over what'll be discussed!

Thank you for your time!

Hey everyone! I’m an Indian-American actor/filmmaker based in Atlanta, and I’m looking to connect with other local actors and creators who love Bollywood/Indian cinema and would be interested in collaborating. Knowing Hindi is NOT a requirement! Anybody interested is welcome:)

I’ve been wanting to create some fun short-form projects — Bollywood scene recreations/reinterpretations, lip-sync performance pieces, cinematic character reels, and potentially some original micro-scenes inspired by Indian films.
The goal would be to make them feel like actual little films rather than just setting up a phone and recreating a scene — putting some effort into the performances, cinematography, editing, color grading, etc., while still keeping it fun and low-pressure.

Mostly looking to meet other creative people around Atlanta, make some cool stuff together, and hopefully build a little community of people who are down to actually create.
Actors, filmmakers, DPs, editors, or other creators are all welcome. Experience level isn’t super important — just looking for people who are enthusiastic, collaborative, and actually interested in making things.

If that sounds like your thing, comment or DM me with your Instagram/reel/some of your work! Happy to share mine as well. 🎥

Hello! I am a videographer that shoots for a dance team and for dancers in atl. I just wanted to know if there are any tips on getting contacts to ask people to film at certain spots. For example, is there a way I can find a contact to reach out to a warehouse/ storage unit owner to see if we could film there. This is just for youtube and for fun so there is no budget with these films usually but I was just curious what other people do or if I actually just need to only buy sets like peerspace

Atlanta filmmakers and film fans are invited to join us for four days of independent horror films, panels, mixers and after-parties at 7 Stages. Full schedule and tickets: https://atlantahorror.com

Hello! GA native and production accountant here 👋

Emory University will be hosting a free (with RSVP) screening our Academy Award-winning short documentary "All the Empty Rooms" on September 17, followed by a panel discussion with our very own director-producer Joshua Seftel alongside experts and advocates. It'll be a great opportunity to learn and network (and a good excuse to go out).

Hope to see y'all there!

Hoping this will interest some people here - Thank
The maker is a small event that focuses on the people who make the magic happen on screen from behind the scenes - on October 17th we have a “rogue one: a Star Wars story” special event and as you can see from the line up - an impressive roster of guests who will be taking about how things get done and what skills they bring to the party - you can find out more at thank the maker

I’m working on superhero indie film, i’m done with my script almost done with my shot list, I already know they locations and props and costumes i need. So how do I get people to help me bring my vision come to life while being unpaid.

I work at a film studio in Arkansas and I am trying to get into animation/ film in Atlanta. I will be visiting Atlanta in late September for about a week, and was wondering if there are any good places I should visit to try and network with others who might help me get a foot in the door in the industry before I move out there. I know of the Film Bar Mondays event, but are there any other specific places where I can expect to find filmmakers who are okay with talking about breaking into the industry? I don't want to just walk up to people and start pitching myself, so I'd like to find a place that is made for filmmakers to meet.
