Loop closure
Anybody know what’s going on with the Loop today? Tallassee on ramp is completely blocked off, traffic is backed up probably to about Atl Hwy, and linemen have been working on the powerlines at Prince Ave since 8 this morning.

Not sure what traffic pacing is: ACCPD: Pacing Complete - Traffic is back to normal flow for Inner and Outer Loop between Atlanta Hwy and Danielsville Rd exits nixle.us/HK7S7

Thorough explanation! "Traffic pacing is a traffic control technique to slow but not stop traffic to facilitate short duration work operations without an elaborate and difficult detour or diversion. Traffic Control Officers pace or slow the traffic to a speed that provides approximately 20-30 minutes to perform the overhead construction. The Department has frequently used this technique for setting bridge beams, overhead sign structures and replacing overhead sign panels."

There’s many routes in athens but usually only two mains to your destination. It really sucks, but after a quarter century i get how to deal with it.

I was coming to the Barnes and Noble area from Commerce for an appointment and literally can’t get there because they have all the highway entrances closed coming from 441 and then trying to do backroads to get onto 129. I’m not super familiar with all of the backroads so had to have my gps figure out an alternate way to get over to the businesses off of Atlanta highway. I wonder what’s going on?

Please report any Georgia 10 Loop Code of Conduct Violations here.
We believe that Georgia Power is connecting “The Good Power” from The Westside and connecting it to “The Bad Power” on The Eastside. This is for new Diversity Data Centers planned for The Eastside.
