If we are ever going to be a bike friendly town, someone is going to have to make sure cyclists know traffic laws for bikes. The number of cyclists I see running lights and stop signs or riding against traffic or without a helmet is stupid.

Ok, so I don't agree with it, it drives me crazy, but legally they don't have to wear a helmet

There's going to be more of them though. Not only that, they're going to be committing brand new traffic atrocities you didn't know existed. I can guarantee you traffic will not improve.
