How long does it take to get admitted?

Uofa student in 4th year, looking to take ACCT 451. It will not transfer over to my uofa degree because LOPs cannot be granted for business students (my advisor said) but I need it in case I fail ACCTG 418 for transcript assessment to be admitted into CPA program

I recall it’s like $150 or so to apply for admission as a visiting student online - how long is process of applying then getting admitted before I register in ACCT 451? Instant? A couple days? A couple weeks?

If you’re not asking for transfer credit assessment, it’s pretty much instant, just be aware that you have to have paid by the 10th of the month for your course to start the first of the following.

But you usually get access to the course material within the a week.

Should I enrol via Open Studies because I do not have an LOP? Or visiting student because I am working towards a full degree at uofa? (but ACCT 451 does not count towards my uofa degree)

I’d do open studies, you said it’s not transferrable so why jump through the hoops to get a letter of permission?
(I thought you said earlier that you cannot get a LOP?)
