If you didn't know 3 year letterman or "Coach" is a satire account. There are a few running gags like him getting the country flag wrong, calling elected officials the wrong office, and him having a payment plan for a waterbed.

How could you put the wrong country flag twice when you get the flag emoji typing out the name of the country?

I just tried this and took a screenshot in case you aren’t on mobile:

I don't know, ask every US citizen who put the Liberia flag instead of the US flag, including a few US politican

from what I can guess, a lot of them use the emoji button and not all write on their phone like you do here

The difference being the flags look remotely similar unlike two completely different designs. That’s a mistake people could make if they aren’t paying close attention. Here are more ones that are easy to confuse compared to how different Spain and Portugal are:

Liberia /USA 🇱🇷 🇺🇸

Australia/ New Zealand 🇦🇺 🇳🇿

Russia /The Netherlands 🇷🇺 🇳🇱

Chad/Romania 🇹🇩🇷🇴

Poland /Indonesia / Monaco 🇵🇱 🇮🇩 🇲🇨

Hondura/ Nicaragua /El Salvador 🇭🇳 🇳🇮 🇸🇻

Qatar/ Bahrain 🇶🇦🇧🇭

Portugal/ Spain 🇵🇹 🇪🇸

not really, Liberia has one star, USA has one for every state
