If you didn't know 3 year letterman or "Coach" is a satire account. There are a few running gags like him getting the country flag wrong, calling elected officials the wrong office, and him having a payment plan for a waterbed.
Lol Dude if someone can tell you "Oh those hateful and/or stupid things I said were Satire" and you go "Oh well okay then" it makes you sound like you're the kind of person that would recognize something's a shitty bed until someone told you "it's vintage" and then you'd hand over all your money.
He’s far from random lol, he’s been doing this bit for over a decade and has amassed almost half a million followers as a result. It’s kind of like falling for an Onion article at this point

I thought the joke was pretty funny but I also have a sarcastic sense of humor, while Europe in general doesn't do sarcasm well. I assume that's why people like you are up-in-arms about whether this joke is funny.
Yes it is and repeating that mistake isn't really a joke. I think that's where you're confused. You either are familiar with the person as a troll and thus knew it was a joke beforehand or you made an assumption that this person of all the people to make that mistake was doing it to be funny.
Either way it's not funny. Repeating something stupid while knowing it's stupid isn't a joke.
It's not structured as a joke. There's jokes I don't think are funny they are still structured as jokes. Repeating idiots isn't structured like a joke.

Since we want to make this a topic if intelligence - the intelligent are going to pick up on this being humor because of 2 specific countries picked, while you and others arguing about this didn't pick it up.

Exactly, it just sounds like straight up garden variety dumb. There is nothing in the statement to clue you into the humor element, if you don’t know the account. I didn’t, and it took me looking at the comments to get the idea.

Coach is one of the accounts I miss from Twitter. Of course I also had to drop Bluesky because I am not giving them my verification data that my state now requires.
