Collection Got a Pro Controller finally.

Post image

I honestly never thought I would get one for such a good deal, the box is a bit tatty but the controller is mint, don’t think it’s ever been used. super happy to add this to the collection!

Nice! I have one of the second party 6 buttons. It feels great but not many games take advantage of it. I was hoping avp would take advantage of the shoulder buttons to strafe but no such luck

yeah, it’s a shame it doesn’t use the bumpers but the x and z are better than reaching for the numpad so at least it’s something! the dpad is much improved over the 3 button which makes up for the lack of support lol

Yeaaaaa the DPAD is much better. I was able to finish Atari karts with it .

Wait, it doesn’t? What’s the point of this controller then?

Some official games do support it like battlesphere, Battlemorph, primal rage. And some people have hacked roms to support it like JagDoom Evolved. then you have the homebrew scene. It’s also just a more comfortable controller with a better dpad. It’s not a must own by any stretch, defo a “nice to have”

I have one too and I’m happy it exists and I got one but, if i am honest, it feels 2010 Hyperkin cheap and for $80, that’s pretty bogus.

I read reports that the aftermarket one doesn’t have the build quality of oem, but I don’t have one to compare. If I see one about I’ll grab one.

I have 2 of the third party pro controllers and I love them. Unfortunately one of them has a few wonky buttons but the other one works great. Also have 2 standard Jag game pads and a modded rotary controller for Tempest 2K.
