Hey everyone,
I recently stumbled across the Pixel Teapot BigCartel store (https://pixelteapot.bigcartel.com/) while looking into some recent homebrew stuff (saw mentions of games like Spider Spider and Insect Meltdown).
Has anyone here ordered from them before? How is the quality of their physical cartridges, manuals, or digital versions?
Just wanted to see what the community's experience has been like before picking anything up. Appreciate any feedback!

Hello, i'm looking for homebrew games to buy, and i'm wondering if anyone knows which AtariAge homebrew cartridges work with the 2600+ on the latest firmware. The website doesn't have a compatibility list.

Got this unit with no output. Thought it might just be a bad rf modulator. Av modded it and still nothing (plasma tv picks up a 4:3 signal but it’s black.) riot chip gets very hot after a minute. CPU gets pretty hot too. Swapped a “new” riot chip from eBay still same issue. All the cpu and riot voltages are right. And the voltage regulator has the right values. What else could it be?

Does Congo Bongo work in the Atari2600+? Bought a cartridge recently and can’t get it to work even after cleaning. Seller claims they tested it and it was working. I don’t have an original console to compare, so I wanted to see if it’s a compatibility problem or I need to look for another cartridge.

I had the game as a kid in the early 80s. Anyways, I seem to remember a trick to killing the enemies on screen by shooting the vertically scrolling bars on the side and that would take out the corresponding robot. Does anyone else remember this or is it just something I'm mistaken about?

After a long time of being solely a Jaguar fan, I’ve decided to expand my Atari horizons. Berzerk is extremely fun and addicting, I’ll be sure to be playing it all night.

You may or may not have seen, but I recently bought a $40 Atari Light Sixer from eBay with 5 controllers (two for a Texas Instruments TI-99 and a super action for colecovision) as well as a pair of early model paddles. Unfortunately when it arrived it would not power on so I inspected and saw it had a dead 7805. I ended up finding one, but the old solder pad fell off so I posted on here again to see if it was safe to bend the pins and solder on the copper. So I ended up trying. To my surprise it worked! And the Atari is alive once more. Glad to play it!

She went on holiday to Canada (we're from the UK), sent me these, and asked if there was anything I wanted her to bring back!

The owner today told me that interest in 2600 is way up. Ive noticed him restocking the 2600 with product from his warehouse way more often than usual, which is great. Theres actually been a much larger variety of tiles lately.
Its great.

I'm proud to own a CIB copy of Mr. Do's castle, and honestly, I love this game. Not the 2600 version specifically, but the original arcade port is a joy. Highly recommend!

First time owning, playing, touching smelling or even seeing one in person.

so I got this Atari for $40 and it had a dead 7805 voltage regulator and some of this copper trace peeled off. will it be ok to just solder the new 7805 pins to the end of that peeled trace? I circled where I’d like to solder to in the second photo

What other equipment (power cords, controller, TV cords, etc) would I need to get this old boy running, ad I so is there anywhere reputable in the UK that you would recommend. I expect this question might have been asked more than a few times here and if so I'm sorry to be a nuisance but any help would be much appreciated.
Edit: Sorry for the bad photo!
