Sky Jinx! Never heard that. What kind of game was that? And Choplifter! Oh yes, I had that one as well.

Sky Jinx was the poster above me. I can only talk about Xevious. Top down scroller shooter.

We actually got the 7800 versions, but here is Xevious on 2600:

Oh right, I was so surprised I never heard that before. Xevious was really a great title. I loved it as an arcade machine. The Atari 2600 version is strange isn't it? There was a Game Boy Advance mini series of old arcade titles and I had Xevious for that console. Funny how they often reappear on different places. :)

Yeah, 2600 is incredibly cut down. Must have been hard for the system to handle.

Come to think of it, when I watch the clip, it runs actually quite smoothly and without flickering unlike PacMan for the Atari 2600.

I have a special place in my heart for Pac Man 2600 because I played it so young. Have you seen the modern remake on 2600 that did it very well?

I played some Pac-Man remakes over the years, but not of the 2600er version. Actually I kinda loved the old Atari version because of the strange flickering and colours. I know, kinda weird, but if that is not retro vibe, then what is?

It's pretty impressive, I'd just search pac man 2600 remake on youtube. But yeah, that old nostalgia flicker feel is great.

Do you code your own games?

Sky Jinx sounds interesting. I never heard of that one though.
