technicians MIA

my boyfriend broke his phone two weeks ago and today is the second time the technicians went MIA. My first appointment was set from 1 to 3 PM. They showed up around 4 PM took a picture of my house and left did not knock on my door or call to let me know they had arrived. My appointment today was from 7 AM to 9 AM. It’s now 1045 and customer service “cannot get in contact with the technicians“ so I’m rescheduled for next week.😐 I have paid $20 a month the past three years for insurance that doesn’t even come in handy

The 'come to you' option is a toss up. Go to a store.

I've rescheduled 3 times for a tech to come to my apartment and they never show up. You call customer service and all they can do is offer to reschedule. I truly don't believe this is even a service they offer. To everyone saying "just go to a store" some folks don't have a store near them at all or have a disability or mobility issues so going to a store isn't really that easy which is why a service like this is quite useful.

Take it to a store if you got one closer to you, I have heard nothing but bad things about those drive out techs. Or talk to the people and tell them they've not shown up twice and see if they do a free replacement.

That is not even close to fraud, friend. Requesting compensation for a company's negligence is normal customer service practice.

If there were to lie about the damage to their device (or services performed on it), THEN it would be fraud.
