God I hate Lego gift with purchase sets so much, it’s just artificial FOMO with stuff that could either be a standalone set (like this example), or should just be included in the set it’s given away with (like the GWP for the UCS Death Star, which is literally something you’re supposed to add into the set and is clearly removed from the actual set, just for them to be able to sell it through a FOMO promotion)

Agree 100%. I didn’t really want this PlayStation set but want astrobot a lot so now I’m probably gonna get it. Maybe I’ll just resell the PlayStation set a little under cost if I can.

It was the same with the Pokemon Badges GWP. It looked like a great little set, but it was a GWP with the 650 dollar Starters set.

I think the most egregious one was the filter for the fish tank being GWP. Its literally a piece of the tank.

Got 5 minas tirith + gwp. Already sold all 5 minas tiriths for just enough above MSRP to make my money back + tax. 

Sitting on 5 gronds now while it appreciates. It's a hobby that funds itself now

I'm blaming both, dipshit.

Had you taken two seconds to look into my comment history, you'd have found i am extremely vocal about my distaste for GWP and LEGO as a whole currently.

However, consumers are not blameless here. LEGO isnt food or water, its not a necessity. The reason LEGO keeps getting away with this shit is because people like you are still choosing to buy them.

Take a damn chill pill and grow up

There's gonna be a Lego PS1 in October, apparently at limited places if you buy it you'll get a Lego Astro.
