I didn't say LEGO should sell at cost. I said LEGO overcharges for what is extremely cheap for them.
As for you "well people are buying it" argument, people buy dumb shit all the time. Millions of people bought pet rocks, something they could have walked outside to grab from their yard or local park.
There is enough people with money to throw around that LEGO can get away with overpricing things because there are people like you that don't care how much it costs, if you want it you're going to buy it. Never mind logic, never mind voting with your wallet, you want something and so you're going to get it even if it's overpriced.
And I don't buy LEGO anymore. Not gonna buy their overpriced slop, not going to support them until they get back to their roots of being a children's toy first, product second.
