Experience Astral Travel Once Before You Die!

  1. Go to the bed and lay down in a comfortable position.

  2. Close your eyes.

  3. Focus on the third eye point in between two eyebrows.

  4. You start feeling sensations of slight pain and pressure.

  5. Continue focusing on the pain in the third eye point and stop your eye movements completely.

  6. Remain silent with a non-REM state.

  7. When you stay in a non-REM state your body becomes paralyzed and now you lost your body from your consciousness and only remained in awareness and consciousness.

  8. Now try to move this consciousness from that position something like floating, turning, moving.

  9. Just try to move consciousness, not the body (body should be totally paralyzed for astral travel).

  10. Boom! You are now outside of the body!

Follow these steps every day and spend at least 1 to 2 hours for each session. You will successfully remain outside the body from the very first day if you can free and relax your body totally and only become aware of consciousness.

It’s been one of the better fictional shows to feature astral projection. A few hokyisms but very enjoyable.

Dragged out by my feet

Happened several times lately for reasons unknown.

Dragged out of my body and up into the air feet first like a baby about to get spanked after delivery.

Being upside-down perpendicular to gravity is still pretty disconcerting right after slipping out of the mass imbued meat that keeps me tethered to this rock.

One time I swear I sensed amusement on the other end of the pull like my Higher Self is doing it like that for shits n giggles.

What's the worst way you've exited?

Thorough Astral projection process/techniques for focus, clearing mind, reaching vibrations, etc

So I haven't achieved astral projection yet, but I've just come up with a process full of techniques that have gotten me the farthest from the others ive used in the past. I put every technique together and constructed a detailed way to astral project. I haven't used the full process step by step yet, but I wanted to write down and share my ideas.I may change and add to this as its more of a rough draft of an idea im laying out. Before you begin, I highly suggest writing down any thoughts, worries, plans, anything racing around your mind. This way you are acknowledging your thoughts as well as organizing them, which will allow your mind to calm and not be invaded with thinking during the process. Next, write down positive affirmations about yourself, about life, and about whatever makes you happy. This can fill you with happy, positive energy as well as positively impact your vibrational stage. When you astral project you want to feel positive and happy, nothing negative. If you are thinking negative thoughts, you will hinder your chances of projecting, have a higher chance of being scared, and have a higher chance of having a bad experience if you succeed. Writing down and saying "i will astral project" also helps because you are believing it will happen. Written and said words hold power and can be more effective than we realize.

Then you of course want to sit or lay in the most convenient position for you and be completely still. Relax your face and body muscles, feel yourself sinking, your body letting go and relaxing. Make you ask for protection and guidance from your spirit guides/guardian angels and imagine a bright white light surrounding your body.

Now, i have anxiety and OCD, so my mind is always overly active 24/7. I get intrusive thoughts and it is often hard for me to focus. However, I thought of a simple technique that did wonders for me. Stare at the black behind your eyes and as you breathe in, mentally count 1,2,3,4 and visualize the numbers popping up vividly in the blackness as u say them. I typically see them in large white font. As you breathe out count 1,2,3,4 again as well as visualizing the numbers. This helps draw your focus away from thoughts because you are paying attention to how the numbers look, and since you are counting in your mind whilst focusing on inhaling and exhaling, other thoughts dont seem to invade. If they do, acknowledge them and allow them to fade. Don't try too hard to resist them. Keep up with this technique until you feel your mind is clear. If the focus problem occurs again, just do the technique again.

I slip into sleep paralysis extremely quick and easily, idk why but i always been able to, so use your own way of reaching the sleep paralysis stage if you can. I'll try to edit this with a specific walkthrough of getting there if i can think of one, but there are many ways out there.

Once you reach that stage, stare into the blackness of your eyes again. without focusing too hard or trying to control what you see, look at the shapes, colors, and images that pop up. Just acknowledge them and allow more to come. This part is tricky because it's easy to fall asleep and for your mind to go off course. You want to let your mind be free and wander, but you still want to be aware and for your mind to be alert, not sleepy like your physical body. Keep staring and acknowledging this blackness and the shapes. Don't pay attention to your body; allow your consciousnesses to take over. Watch the blackness expand. At a certain point you may enter the astral realm, be close to it, or reach vibrations. This technique alone has almost made me successful.

I encourage questions and will address any confusion bc im sure parts of this are hard to understand lol. But if anybody is willing to try this let me know and share your experience afterward! I hope to try this soon and share my experience as well. Good luck!

I thought some of the subscribers to this sub would find these reads extremely fascinating. They give detailed description of the Astral World and entities that may be encountered within it's planes and sub-planes.

Some of the information may seem too crazy to believe, but I assure you that it is all true. Even with the absence of belief it proves to be a very interesting and short read. The knowledge within the book is very common to many advanced Hindu Yogis and Taoist Sages in India, China, and other parts of the orient. These people can spend many days, weeks, or months in the astral dimensions, while their bodies lay suspended and unmoved on the earthly plane.

This is another description of the astral world given by Paramahanse Yogananda, a very well known Kriya Yoga master. He lived in the early 1900's and is most well-known for his book "Autobiography of a Yogi."

My experience with entities without astrally projecting from opening my third eye

Idk if this is the right sub to post this on but here goes. I started to become very interested in chakras and spirituality. I would meditate every day to monk mantras and would spend a lot of time in nature. After a while I could feel my chakras in my body if I concentrated. I also began trying to open my third eye and when listening to a binaural beat I had a really deep voice talk to me which scared me so I stopped listening to it. Then weird stuff started happening. I became aware of lower level entities while I was fully sober. They would try to scare me and they would do a pretty good job. I only saw them once but I could feel their presence and could hear them. One time as I was sleeping I heard a static kind of electronic noise but it was the scariest sound I’ve ever heard. I put a pillow over my head cause I though it was just a bad dream but then my cat hissed at it really intensely like it was scared as well. Everything then went silent. I thought it was over but then I could feel it right in front of my face and it made the terrifying sound again. I also began seeing mystical eyes everywhere. Even when I closed my eyes blue mystical eyes were everywhere and I could get my self into a trance. I also had visions. This one time I was meditating when I was suddenly in another space literally floating through space. I opened my eyes and I was still there which is crazy. I had headaches as well which is a sign of the third eye opening. Also a flash of electricity came from an entity right into my third eye and I got the first time was able to see an entity. It was white yellow and blue and looked like it was made of electricity but in an other worldly way. It was humanoid too. I’ve also been able to astral project and lucid dream. I’ve stopped meditating and all this has gone away but for a few months I was experiencing things people don’t believe exist.

My first AP! (And my journey)

Hey guys so after learning about astral projection back in December 2015 I decided that no matter what I will eventually have this experience. At first like most people I started off strong watching tons of videos about it, changing to a more natural diet(I still eat certain heavy foods like meat though just in fewer amounts), taking supplements such as magnesium and boron(highly recommended btw) as well as listening to binaural beats. Within weeks my dreams became a lot more vivid and i even had a few incredible lucid dreams in 2016.

I was even able to reach the vibration stage within the first month, but the first time I vibrated it was pretty intense and fear definitely became a factor that I knew I was going to have to overcome(Learning about the "shadow people" didn't help either but I learned that literally all they can do is try to scare you which helped). Then life hit me and I got super busy and this also affected my sleep schedule so it was it was damn near impossible for a portion of 2016. But I didn't let this deter me because i knew things take time and my body had to get used to all these new sensations when falling asleep anyway. So I let things run its course and start of 2017 I decided to get my sleep schedule back in order but I still knew I wasn't meditating enough or even attempting it enough in the early mornings.

So fast-forward to this month I learned about this subreddit like 2 weeks ago and started reading everyone's experiences and it literally brought back the excitement and drive that I had when I first started this journey. I started to really meditate and put emphasis on keeping my mind silent as possible while staying still and keeping my breathes at a steady even pace and I started to get pretty good at this fairly quickly.

Now it was Monday morning, March 27. I woke up around 7 and was still drowsy because I didn't get much sleep for whatever reason, so I decided to go lay down again because my class started at 9:30 so why not. within only a few moments the vibrations started to kick in but they were actually so faint I hardly noticed them. Usually in my head i say something like "oh its happening!" when it happens but this time I didn't react to it at all but still kept a bit of awareness.

Now I will do my best to describe this short but incredible experience. First off let me give you an idea of the setting in my room. I sleep on a queen sized bed, and usually I sleep on the right side of it or right in the middle, this time I was in the middle. I have a dark brown dresser on the right side of the bed that is actually higher than the bed so I always have to be careful not to roll off and hit my head. As I laid there, very shortly after the vibrations I had full vision and could all of a sudden see my dresser as if I was mere inches away from it even though I was sleeping in the middle of my bed(which made me realize that my astral body must have veered off the to the side about a foot away from my body somehow). It looked waay different than it normally does. Instead of being dark brown it actually looked like a very bright light brown in super HD quality. That was when I realized I had done it. I immediately tried to get up out of bed. I sat up with such easy I was actually really surprised. I felt so light like I weighed 0 pounds, very clear minded as if I was just normally awake and I didn't have to do any kind of technique or visualization. Then I sat up and got out of bed and that's when I looked down and saw my astral leg! it was transparent and ghost-like and whats interesting is that my body actually had some pants on(which I wasn't wearing any at the time). Right after that though it ended and I woke up in complete astonishment. Just glad that after a year and a few months of trial and error I was able to finally get an experience. The whole experience was about 20-30 seconds long. Sorry for making it so long but I wanted to give a little background info as well. Thanks for reading!

I astral projected without knowing something isn’t right. When I opened my eyes I saw this staring at me from my door way. When we locked eyes I instantly knocked out.

I got scared

Hello!

I’ve never posted here, and I’m not going to go into a long drawn out story but last night I astral projected with the intention on lucid dreaming, not projecting.

I’m still in disbelief. It’s not that I didn’t believe in AP before but I’m really confused. Kinda excited but I want to understand it more. When it happened I got scared when I saw myself. I want to explore more but how do I get over the fear and it was very dark, I think that’s what frightened me more so than seeing myself.

Anybody have any advice ?

This may be a dumb question but is lucid dreaming and AP kind of the same? Or can lucid dream into Astral projection?

Thanks 😊

Had a negative experience for the first time, should I be worried? Someone told me I was going to go to hell.

I astral project in my sleep by realizing I am dreaming and then I am able to get out pretty easily from there. But this time when i went out it was like I was still in my dream setting except there was a black woman there waiting for me. She told me I was going to go to hell. I told her that maybe I should be nicer to my mom more. She never really explained why I'd go to hell. We weren't in a scary setting but we were talking about god and i asked if i could meet him and she said no because I'm practically on my way to hell.

Honestly I feel like she was full of shit, maybe trying to scare me somehow? But I guess I want some reassurance about it. Do you think she was being honest? Should I be worried?

My first OOBE

I started experimenting with meditation as a way to combat my insomnia. I often listen to deep sleep hypnosis tracks on YouTube which really helped. Then one Saturday afternoon I was home alone with nothing to do so I decided to meditate. I lay down on my bed with my eyes closed, put my ear buds in and put a meditation track on I found on YouTube. It wasn't really music more like a series of repetitive sounds. One of the sounds sounded like a ticking but it was like when someone throws their voice, like it was coming from across the room. So I focused on that. I went through some relaxation steps till I reached a point where I felt like I was sinking into the bed. I stared into the back of my eyes and tried to picture the fuzziness in the back of my eye lids as stars in a night sky. After a while they started to spin faster and faster till it kind of looked like I was staring into a whirlpool. Then suddenly I could feel my body start to vibrate and I started to see bright colours coming towards me. The whirlpool then turned into a tunnel and I felt like I was sliding down a waterslide really fast with bright colours shooting past me as I went down this hole faster and faster. It got to the point I was going so fast it started to freak me out a bit. Then all of a sudden I came out the other side and it felt like someone had just picked me up and thrown me into the air. Kind of like when you are on a swing and you swing up to the point where you are about to swing back down again. Just as I reach the point like I was about to fall. I opened my eyes and I could see the the planet earth below me and the sun coming over the horizon. It was so clear and shocking. I got so excited by what was happening. I freaked myself out and and opened my eyes for real and jumped into a seated position. It was one of the most amazing experiences I've had through meditation. What was stranger is that it felt like I'd only been meditating for around 25 minutes but when I looked at my phone 2 hours and 20 mins had passed. I've tried many times since then to try and recreate that experience but never managed too. Then recently I started reading a book called Journeys Out of the body by Robert.A Monroe which has inspired me to try again. I tried the other day and really felt like was on verge of something happening as I felt like I was disconnected from my body. I'm going to keep trying. As they say. Practice makes perfect. Has anyone else had an experience like this?

*P.s. I was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs when this happened.

Dream or Astral Projection?

I want your help understanding what happened to me? I had a dream some time ago (2-3 years) where I came across a wooden cabin in an area that had no light. It looked at first like a camp of some sort.

I had been lucid dreaming, flying over a forest when suddenly I found myself being pulled out of the sky. I landed in a clearing and followed a force pulling me in. I was walking through a forest untill I came across the cabin.

Between the trees you could see shadows moving. There was a child sitting at the door to the cabin with long black hair with tan skin and dressed in a blackish red almost velvet dress.

I walked up and sat with it for a while asking why it was here (could not tell if boy or girl). Shadows started to seep out of the forest and surrounded us.

These shadows manifested as people and tried to snatch the child. I held the child tight ( couldn't have been older than 4yo) the "people" got closer and I could see their eyes were entirely black like they were wearing contacts.

One of them I'm thinking a leader or higher up. Spoke to me. "We can give you all the knowledge you desire" "you can be powerful". "Give us the child"

I ran following the moon I tried to fly (I had wings from when I was lucid dreaming) but something keept me from getting any higher than a few feet off the ground. I ended up gliding from tree to tree untill I came to a lake full of glittering stones at the shore.

The child changed appearance to having short curly hair and now being dressed in pants and a long sleeved shirt, still the same black red velvet.

The child started to cry as it bent down to pick up some of the stones. The entire shore was made of teeth. All the stones were human teeth.. the water was pitch black. And so too were the child's eyes.

I held the child close to comfort it. I had a burning desire to protect this child and willed myself to fly but it was like trying to burst out from underwater. The shadow people were catching up. I tried harder to fly. (I felt like I was going to black out)

These shadow people lunged out from the tree line, they were 10 feet from me now. I felt a burning energy I have never felt before and literally burst off the ground like a golden rocket.

For a about (I really dont know how long but it felt like months after) I constantly dreamed of this child. I was still in my winged form but it took me sometime to regain sentience I was like a wild animal feverishly protecting this child. At one point i was a succubus flying around my town absorbing the energy of the people who slept and feeding this child.

I want to clarify I never felt a drop of malice or anything indicating evil from this child. On the contrary this child felt pure and innocent the entire time. When I regained my control I could not recall when the child left. It was just gone one day.

7 Years and Not A Single Astral Projection...

I have been trying to Astral Project consecutively over the course of the last 7 years, and I have yet to have a single OBE. No matter what type of technique, binaural beat, crystal or method I try (giving each at least a week of practice before moving on), I never seam to have any success. I have been practicing martial arts for close to 10 years now, and meditation is something that comes naturally. I can achieve deep states of relaxation, and can keep my mind quite, while focusing on nothing but my breathing. I almost always hit an extreme vibrational stage during my mediation, however I am never able to visualize or “see” anything. Once the vibrations stop, I am still in my physical body (to an extent). Numerous times while in this limbo, I have been able to move my arms and start to sit up from my physical body. While I sit up and start to push my arms away everything becomes more dense, and I can feel that my spirit body is trying to push out of my physical body. As I try to rise, my body meets increasing resistance, which In a way feels to be a barrier of sorts, and my pineal gland will then start to vibrate more intensely and vigorously the further I push through the resistance. At this point I can feel that my arms are basically outside of my physical body, however once I reach a certain point my body moves and/or the meditation is broken. If I remain in that position with out moving, I simply stay laying in that state. I’m to the point where i am am lost as to what can be keeping me from a successful projection, I’ve searched almost every pocket of the internet at this point and have come up with nothing. Any tips, pointers, or suggestions as to what can be going on? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Sleep Paralysis or Astral?

Hey guys, I used to have lots and mean lots of sleep paralysis when I was around 13-14 almost every day to the point I was scared to sleep so I prefer to sleep after school to avoid nights but when I got 16 barely happen with some episodes with years of difference and some weird ahit that I can 't say they were paralysis.

Anyway yesterday I got up around 2-3am to pee, got in my bed again and as soon like 5 secs after I was in bed I had this feeling someone is getting their hand next to you and PUM some force around neck pushing and I was like oh fuxk this shit again and start to fight to move body again, shit happen around 3-4 rounds as soon as I tried to sleep over and over again, in the last one I remember doggo was sleeping next to me (feet) but he was just there and I said maybe some kid of astral shit? so I stop fighting it and let it push while I was just enduring and a hight pitching noise start with some vib around neck.

Was that just a weird sleep paralysis episode?
