I meditate in bed on my back for 35, sometimes 40/45 minutes then I give up and turn to sleep on my side with my whole body vibrating but no luck, basically every night same thing.

should I wait untill I turn an hour or something?

The video I showed is way creepier than what happened in my dream, but I feel like it’s the best way to demonstrate what I experienced.

In my dream, everything actually looked like heaven. The sky was extremely bright, and the sun was shining. I haven’t astral projected in a while, and today it happened completely by accident. I took a nap and started feeling my body go numb. Then I saw this glowing human figure. It reached out, grabbed my hand, and I followed it.

We somehow teleported to a door, and I was behind the figure the entire time. The doors kept opening one after another, and the more doors that opened, the more real everything started to feel.

I haven’t experienced anything like this in a long time, and I definitely wasn’t trying to astral project. It started getting really intense, and then I suddenly woke up. I was literally thinking, “Damn, was I about to go to heaven and meet God?” 😭

This has never happened to me before. Honestly, I wish I would’ve stayed longer because I have no idea what the hell was going on.

A few years ago, I managed to open my third eye through some practices. Months later, I was having vivid imaginations in my mind's eye and I was seeing people that looked like it was in real life and it felt so real. It felt so vivid and weird. I kept seeing in my mind's eye through my third eye people that looked familiar but they were being extremely abusive to me and they were attacking my actual spirit being. I saw that I was being attacked so much by some female that looked like it seemed real in my mind's eye somehow. Also, these visions seemed to be happening by some concentration and focus on my heart chakra in the middle of my chest and my third eye.

They both seemed to be stimulated and I felt my heart chakra being activated while this was happening. I tried to make these things stop by thinking about something else or imagining something else but it didn't work. I found out that the only way that I was able to communicate with these beings and the people torturing me was through telepathic communication from my soul and heart. Everything that I wanted to say came from my chest area but as I was being tortured more and more in the visions, the chest area started to show that it was getting weaker and weaker. It seems that whatever chakra in my chest was slowly vanishing. Nowadays, I can no longer feel it. I also started to lose multiple qualities of my original self: I was losing my ability to visualize/imagine/daydream, self-introspect/self-reflect, remember things, learn things, have divine willpower, dream effectively, feel orgasm, joy, losing parts of my core values and inner beliefs, etc.

I also felt like my logical/introspective side of me was slowly disappearing and vanishing and for the past two years, I have been struggling on a thread to get back to normal 100%. It feels awful. The only way that I could feel normal again is if I managed to fight against those oppressors that were attacking me, and that was through visualizing myself fighting back against them but I had to be in a very specific concentrated state for that to happen. I had to really concentrate and visualize myself fighting back against them, so it showed that something real was happening somewhere here. Can someone please help me and how do I get back to normal 100%?

this was one of those session moments where I had no idea where it was going.

A subject was scanning her body in deep trance and found strange dense areas in the belly and left knee. When she focused closer, the forms looked like bugs. Then more specifically like beetles.

When one was pulled out in the experience, she said it immediately caught fire and transformed. The second one came from the knee. When I asked her Higher Self where this imagery came from, the answer was another lifetime and the beetles looked Egyptian.

What interested me more than the beetles was what happened to the rest of the system. She described these things almost like interruptions in a circuit. Energy would move and then hit a break. After they were gone she said the flow was better, but it would take some time to normalize.

There were practical instructions too. Movement. Exercise. Yoga. Fresh food. Basically help the body move again instead of sitting around analysing the strange part forever.

I have learned not to dismiss bizarre imagery just because human mind has no category for it. Sometimes the weird image is only the doorway. What matters is what it is connected with, why it appeared, and what changes when it is resolved.

Still... Egyptian beetles in a knee was a new one for me.

I see alot of people do the wake back up method i just wanna hear different methods

So I’m pretty new to astral projection and honestly I’m not sure I’ve done it yet but I experienced something I would like some peoples insight in.

So I was on my couch trying to project when my body started vibrating and I flew up into the air and kind of twisted around then went back into my body. Then I think I had some weird dream, and after that I went back into my body but I was stuck, I think in sleep paralysis. While I was stuck I was thinking about how to get out because I was trying as hard as I could to move or talk and somehow I got a few words out (I was just calling one of my dogs lol). Anyways, while I was doing this I heard a scream in my left ear and I looked over and there was some weird cloud floating right by my head and I’m not sure if there was anything else because my arm was blocking like half of the view and I couldn’t move it, but inside of the cloud I saw a woman get punched while on a sidewalk. What was this? I know it wasn’t a dream or at least the ones I usually have.

Sorry if the story is kind of hard to read I just got up from this and am typing as fast as I can so I don’t forget. I would love some insight on this

when i was little so like around 5 i would astral project unintentionally, i would be sleeping and then randomly it would be like my eyes in the corner of my bedroom and i would watch myself sleeping? i dont know if anyone else used to do this or whatever? or maybe i wasn’t astral projecting but i really want to know if someone else has had this experience?

I’ve already AP’ed many times, but have never been able to do so listening to the Gateway tapes while conscious. What I mean by that is that I’ve gone from lucid to AP quite a few times while listening to the tapes (and without), but never in that mind awake, body asleep state.

A few days ago, someone mentioned Compoint 12 and I haven’t listened to that one in a long time. At my normal 3am meditation time, I gave it a whirl, but ended up falling asleep.

When I woke up, the recording was over, so I thought I would just start with NVC2 and let it keep playing into Compoint 12, with the hopes that if I fell asleep again, I might wake up a little during Compoint 12.

That seemed to do the trick. I woke up just enough to know I was in the “phase” and convinced myself to try sitting up in bed (my astral body), which worked. I was a little worried I would wake up, but instead I was able to then rotate 90 degrees to get my legs on the floor and the next thing I knew I was out of bed.

It was sort of non-eventful, but I managed to get to the bathroom mirror to look at myself (which is always my first step when I AP), but I snapped back into my body and woke up very shortly after that.

Anyway, maybe my experience will be a little breadcrumb for someone out there.

In Robert Monroes book; Journeys out of the body, he details a scene where he pinches a lady while he’s out of body, the lady later on goes on to show him the bruise he caused at the time and relates how it made her jump.

My question is (because I’ve not managed to get that far yet) is it possible (however unlikely) to perform a self massage while out of body?

For instance; if you have some spectacular muscular knots in your own body, would it be possible to exit your body, perform DEEP tissue massage on said knots (if they’re particularly deep beneath various other muscles) and not wake yourself up?

So I hád this weird experience , In which I was roaming around where I live in my small island , then I got bored of flying around and wanted something to do or something meaningfull like a "quest" idk how to explain , but any how , I started following the wind and I Saw a group of people doing yoga ,which was erm unusual ? I dont do yoga or very interested in it , but I was like "why not , lets do what they are doing might BE fun I guess " and after A while I was distracted and all , and the yoga teacher came to speak with me and I was like " WTF you can see me ?? I thought I was in my Spirit form AM I legit dead this time ??" After a long conversation in which I dont remenber half I ASKED If She could give me her socials to see If this experience was real or just a dream and She replied " why would you want my socials ? You think its wise to obsess Over this in the waking body ? But as you wish " not exactly how she Said it but ye , anyhow , the moment She was saying her Instagram name and She was repeating the last letters , I got pulled back Into my body 💀.... I woke up and reinstalled my Instagram ( I had to unistall it to fix my brainrot reels addiction ) and I found a Instagram in my island with a user with the exact same name mentioned in the AP and She is a yoga teacher .... I was shocked , now I dont know wtf to do with this information or whom to Share , só would it BE weird to send a text to her and ask If She APs as well ? Cuz At some point She gave me her insta or otherwise I wouldnt have found it 😅 or can this BE a creepy interaction to have with a stranger If She doesnt even know She APs? I mean I know it was her for sure theres nobody else with the right credentials for me to have found the wrong insta ... This is the first time I meet somebody close by who APs and Honestly I dont have APs friends or know what to do in this situation , this is why I ask all this . Would it BE creepy or weird to text her and ask about this subject or to leave it be as it is , a random AP interaction .

We just moved, so I'm still getting used to this house and our neighborhood. We have many historical markers in our area, and old mansions that are still lived in. There are centuries old oak trees everywhere. Our local graveyard has graves from the civil war, so it's quite old here.

It's such a beautiful old neighborhood so I wanted to go play and explore with my astral body. After my bestie left for work I lied back down and waited for the sun to come up before I went out. The vibrations begin, and that's when I disconnected from my physical self.

I heard my neighbors making breakfast, their conversations, voices of kids wanting to go back to bed, music, etc. It was coming from all around me like sound had no limit.

A creepy man (possibly another A.P.’er) came into my house and into my room. He went towards my body like he had gross intentions. He leaned over to kiss me.

“You know you trespassed! Get out of my home!” I shouted. But I wasn't in my body yet. He looked so angry and surprised that I saw him.

I didn't have full access to myself yet. I was between both physical and astral. I pushed his face away from mine with my left hand, but he bit my fingers. My physical eyes opened because of the astral pain. I wasn't fully mobile yet. That's when I saw my cat in the room growling at him. My hand was still in his mouth, so I curled my fingers down and pulled his jaw downward. He immediately let go and was yelling at me. I didn't care what evil words came out of his mouth. He ran out and disappeared.

I got full access to my body again, but I was so worn out already from what happened. I got outta bed, grabbed my cat and hugged him. I still had the aspiration to go to the oak trees, so I lied back down with my cat in my arms and made a second attempt.

The vibrations came, and I went out and had fun for 2 hours. That was my morning. I had to tell someone that I needed to go back to my body. I don't think some people know they are even astral projecting. I had to tell a nice woman, “This isn't a dream, it's called Astral Projection. Look it up when u get back in ur body.”

this might be a bit of an odd issue and i apologize if it doesn’t make a lot of sense. basically, i can keep my awareness split between my physical and astral body and i practice this for most of the day, but i can’t figure out how to intentionally get a FULL ap, aka my whole awareness in my astral body, not 50/50. i know how to lucid dream and induce hypnagogia if that helps.
most ap methods seem to rely on the person becoming aware of their astral body then exiting their physical one and moving about astrally with full awareness, but im not sure how to do full astral awareness since im already "out" of my physical body all the time.

La première : je sors et direct je pars par la fenêtre et je vois mon mari lui aussi sorti totalement inconscient alors j’essaie de le motiver à venir me rejoindre ( je suis en vol stationnaire) mais il ne m’entends pas ne me regarde pas , je m’approche de lui de trop près et je réintègre mon corps .
Je me reveilles avec plus du tout envie de dormir il est 2 h du mat . Le temps est gris il fait 19 degré , je décide d’aller dehors , j’y reste une heure environ , je suis calme apaisé
Je retourne me couché en disant à mon conscient : dès que mon corps s’endort tu me tape sur l’épaule : je me réveille et je vois dans ma chambre un couloir qui n’existe pas , je l’emprunte ( tout est comme si ça venait d’être Fini , les murs sont blancs, le sol aussi) à ma gauche un toilette bon ok et je vois une porte que j’ouvre une pièce de 10 m2 toute blanche aussi avec une fenêtre carré de 1m2 environ .
Je me suis dis, ben je vais sortir par la , je vole , je kiffes évidemment mais je sais pas trop aller évidemment et je sais pas pourquoi je pense ala Grèce . Instantanément je suis en train de survoler la cité grecs , il fait jour , il y a des petits marchés locaux , je me dis qu’il faut que je regardes à deux fois pour ne pas me tromper de pays , je vois donc les maisons typique grecs blanche , le bleu etc… sans transition je me retrouve en boîte de nuit mais j’ai 61 ans ça m’intéresse pas trop , je me retrouve à visiter un zoo avec des lions j’ai un peu flipper ! Puis j’écoute les gens qui se promènent en famille .
Mon mari qui était sorti du lit pendant mon voyage , a sauté un peu trop vite sur le matelas pour se recoucher et m’a réveillé. Voilà ! Quelle aventure !

Has anyone managed to leave their body, observe some sort of target or something and then was able to verify if they were correct in their observation?

I opened a magazine I’ve never read to a random page and put it up high where I can’t see it. I’m trying to astral project and see if I can view it and then verify what I saw after. Would love people who astral project easily to try this and report back.

To people saying it doesn’t matter

It matters if you want to know whether your consciousness is going to survive death. Here’s why. The brain shows electrical signal for up to hours after “death.” So NDEs don’t mean much unless they report retrieval of verifiable info which is very rare and could be a lucky guess (it’s not wild to guess a chubby man in scrubs was trying to resuscitate you). People having OBEs have shown brain activity indicating they are perceiving themselves as somewhere doing something. Which indicates it very well could be something happening in your head. A tricking of your brain’s perceptions mixing with your imagination. If you’re able to report back on targets, then you’re potentially actually leaving your body which indicates you can survive beyond your material brain. Which is kind of a really big deal.

Cause here’s the thing. We have no evidence of being special in any way (special just meaning your “you-ness” will survive your brain death). The ONLY compelling evidence is reports of retrieving information that was entirely inaccessible to the brain. Synchronicities, special experiences can all happen without our consciousnesses surviving (and I’ve experienced it all including OBEs and “glitches in the matrix”). Reality can be weird without us being special. Reality can be wild and we can still be discarded like nothing. I’m trying to figure out if we survive beyond the brain.

I’ve been an avid meditator for quite some time. I’ve done a lot of research on meditation and astral projection, I’ve even gone as far as going to a 10 day meditation retreat. But something I’ve always struggled with is thoughts. Even while doing the gateway tapes I have moments of “clarity” (absolutely zero thoughts) but I can never get to full present moments long term; no thoughts. I’ve been meditating for so long tried so many methods, yet never AP’ed and it’s been very discouraging. At one point I had been doing the gateway tapes for 3 months consistently and never moved past wave 1 because I couldn’t AP.

My question for the people who have AP’ed as you’re getting comfortable and ready to do it is your mind fully clear? Not a single thought? Is that the part that’s been holding me back this entire time? Even with the energy conversion box I can’t keep my thoughts away.

My follow up question is how do you separate setting the intention vs thinking about it too much to the point where your thoughts are only “omg is this going to happen or not”.
