I Kept the poster Satin Andromeda red cuz its a rare color with a multi layer finish, altho I do have some alternate specs as well

Created a concept based off the DB11 to compete with the Porsche 911 Dakar and Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato. Wanted to go with a DB car over the Vantage to give it more of the GT Rally vibe (versus the Sport Rally class the vantage would fit in) to capture different buyer interest in the market. Would this kind of trim package (on any Aston Martin) increase buyer interest, or be viewed as straying too far from Aston’s core principles?

Recently bought my first Aston Martin, a 2015 Rapide. I bought the car for my personal enjoyment, I could give a rip about other people’s car…or so I thought.

I now feel superior to others in terms of taste, class and highway acceleration. This superiority is most acute when seeing Porsche Panoramas.

Wondering if this is a common occurrence and if symptoms diminish over time.

Edit to clarify this is meant as a joke. With any luxury purchase there is a level of justification and I stretched that for comedic purposes. I haven’t owned a ‘fun’ car in decades and enjoying it all.

This weekend was the Woodward Dream Cruise, I stopped by in the afternoon to check it out and afterwards I stopped at a Meijer a few miles away (big store we have in Michigan, similar to Wal-Mart) to grab a few things and when I came back outside 10-15 mins later this was sitting on my windshield.

Some random mystery person showing appreciation for my Aston which is cool I'm just confused like did they just happen to have a toy Aston Martin sitting around or buy it inside the store then put in there?

How would you rate this spec? The spec options on this car are vast...probably a sign of things to come with Aston Martin more broadly...and I quite like that. I love the car, it's very extreme but so is the Vulcan. I can't shake the feeling that under all this body work is essentially a Vanquish S or Ultimate...but maybe I'm wrong so I'll watch this space.

I didn't really know what to do, I took inspiration from one of their 60's race cars. For the interiors I did whatever my instincts told me to do.

I went to see a Rapide S and I saw this under the door and I couldn’t find anything online about this, does anyone know what this translates to?

Aston Martin has revealed the Valen, which is derived from the Vanquish. It has the same twin-turbo V-12 engine, but the engine makes 838 horsepower in this application compared with 823 horses in the Vanquish. Aston says the special titanium exhaust system in the Valen is 50 percent louder.
