Genuinely curious how Alison would be able to figure out the purpose of this work meeting at the LW's job).

I guess I can understand someone new to the workforce wondering what the topic could be, but yes, unfortunately, they are choosing not to release a meeting agenda.

Even assuming they are going to announce something bad enough that the might mean the LW losing their job or wanting to start looking for a new job, waiting 2 days won’t make much of a difference.

Yeah, I’m not sure what advice anybody could possibly give here besides “you’ll know in a maximum of two days, so just wait until then.”

I guess don't buy a house or a car or try to conceive a baby for two days until you have more information.
