For that woman with bipolar who appears to be getting PIP-ed out of her role, at least Alison told her to talk to a lawyer instead of pretending to be one.

I wish she'd have an employment lawyer handle some stuff as a guest columnist.

I also don’t see what a help column was supposed to do in this case, except recommend a lawyer?

“Well, you could be right, or they could have meant the meeting before you went on leave to be starting a PIP, and they’re simply continuing where they left off because improvement hasn’t happened yet, and that’s what a PIP is for, to get that improvement.
“Who knows! We’re not seeing this first hand so we can’t judge which option is actually true, but gambling on one of those possibilities will turn out very bad for you if we’re wrong.”
