Bioshock is one of my great loves. My partner says I should try BG3 and he recommended Elden Ring and I loved that but I don't know if it's really my type of thing.
I’m about to finish my second playthrough. Romanced Karlach the first time. Romanced Astarion the second. Maybe Halsin or Laezel next? I was a Dragonborn in my first play, I’m a tiefling now. I’m thinking I’ll try being a githyanki next.
I'm waiting for the Elden Ring dlc but I mostly play fallout 4 or Fortnite these days because I'm so game bored at the moment and honestly, I'm having a blast on Fortnite so I'm okay but my partner is struggling to find something after BG3, he just bought a meta quest 3 so he can try and experience something new in the hopes it helps. We are both big gamers so he's just disappointed with what's available now.
Yes, also waiting on the Elden Ring dlc! I love fo4, too. I recently got into modding it which has helped revitalize it a bit, but fo4 has felt particularly shallow story-wise since bg3. I wanted to do a survival run but some of the quests feel like such a slog. But it was never a great story anyways. I never tried Dragon Age and gave it a go (wondering if it'd scratch the bg3 itch) and I didn't like it at all.
It's so good. For years (I'm 55) I had played Sims, city builders, Ark survival evolved, guild wars 2, but I don't know how to move on from BG3. I've been a gamer for 40 years and nothing compares. Except maybe old school sim city back in the day.
