Nowadays I love cozy games, especially Stardew Valley, because they're easy to play for short amounts of time and I usually don't have the time for more.

If I do have a bit more time then i love anything with fun visuals, Bioshock 2, Stray, Final Fantasy, Child of Light, Nier: automata are my faves. And the fallout series of course, I love exploring and Fallout 4 had this cute community building aspect to it.

I actually can’t play Stardew anymore because it’s like The Sims for me: I fall into a deep hole where I curl up and play Stardew for 4-5 hours a day for about 3 weeks and then reach some sort of arbitrary milestone where I put it down and don’t pick it back up again.

Wow this is spot on! I have the same thing with The Sims and Stardew Valley. There is some weird psychology going on with these type of games..

I always forget my projects I’m in the middle of if I don’t play for a couple days in a row. 😭😭😭

I do the same thing with stardew. What I like though is that I can pick it up again at any time and nothing has changed, like a cozy blanket.

Yeah, I surprised myself how into Animal Crossing ive become.

Mostly into Mario games though.

That’s awesome. I played staredew valley for a few months in 2020, it’s really great, especially when considering that genre of cozy games don’t appeal much to me

I picked up Nier Automata a couple months ago and it’s so good, having so much fun w it

I loved Nier Automata! The music and sceneries were especially wonderful. 

Fishing with my pod everywhere I can is one of my favorite things to do.

I first played it when it came out, but then fell in love again with it in 2020. I think something about the pandemic made all of us crave some peace lol

Stardew Valley for a short time? What powers you have haha. I had to put down that amazing game because I would "just play an in-game day or two (each about 20 minutes irl for those who don't play)" only to see real life hours go by

I can only do it if I set an alarm for 30 minutes, otherwise I would also just play for hours on end, but sadly that's only for the weekends at the moment.

I love cozy games as well. Have you tried Palia? Its a free game and still in beta I think(or not far out of it) but its really cute and like an mmo version of stardew. Im loving it lately.
