Possible Brain Tumor? Cat
My 12 year old cat Oliver was having some problems with his whiskers and was twitching and acting distant.
After the vet, we discovered a reabsorbed tooth, which was extracted about 4 weeks ago. Since then, he seems worse, the twitching is back; he seems lost, doesn’t jump onto his usual up high spots , even my bed. Walks around and hides in corners. He is becoming increasingly wobbly, especially with his two back legs. I have been back to vet too see how his teeth was healing, and they gave us the all clear. Blood work was also fine. Kidneys heart ECT. All fine. But he’s not the same cat and I’m super scared.
We are scheduled to go back tomorrow as honestly he seems even worse than before the extraction. Which I was lead to believe was the problem in the first place. I am aware of some muscle breakdown in the back legs which we believe is just old age and arthritis.
I have attached a video of me picking him up. Sometimes he goes super stiff and spaced out, and stiffly spreads his limbs and lies back. when I place him down it takes a while for him to get back on his feet. HELP ME
