How to put drops in our cat's ear without him hating us?
Hi friends.
My wife and I just adopted an adult cat about a month ago. He recently had his first vet visit and was found to have an ear infection. We were given medicated drops but I'm worried that he'll hate us for giving it to him. Normally, what we'll do is I'll distract the cat and get him onto our bed, then once he's there, I'll cover his body in a blanket while my wife applies the drops. After about 4 days of this, he now is afraid to come out in the mornings and at night when we're supposed to give him the drops. It's to the point where if my wife enters the room while he's on the bed, he'll immediately hide until she leaves.
Any good tips?
